Good news everyone! The newest RaceApp Update 1910 has just been published to our servers. And it's a massive one!

NEW 1) Assetto Corsa Competizione support is now available for all RaceApp users. Many thanks to the supporters in the early access program for providing valuble feedback! I hope you all like the comfort of the livery browser. As Kunos introduced custom liveries with a later patch, they are not supported yet. However there is the idea for an interactive livery designer on my desk. Keep tuned...

NEW 2) A brandnew Event Scheduler is available at the What'up menu page. See which communities perform which events in a nice monthly scheduler view. You can filter the view by using the Community Id in the URL.

NEW 3) The logfile upload routines have been enhanced to give you a lot more feedback about the file uploaded. For example you get information which driver names fall into the anonymization.

NEW 4) At the Series statistics page the performance table was enhanced with an additional column comparing the average Q positions with the R positions as +/- value.

NEW 5) At the series settings I have added a button to add a complete performance class to the selection (i.e. for Raceroom you can add all GT3 which includes GTR3 and all GT Masters.) This feature becomes more relevant with rF2 support, because as we have already seen content modders often use the car name also in the field for class name and so you do not have the comfort to select the whole class.

NEW 6) Confirming/Cancelling event participations has been improved on the What's up page. If you have several runs on one day the app asks you if you want to confirm all other runs aswell.

NEW 7) R3E Entrylist Exporters: They provide simple csv files which can be opened in for example in Excel. There are several places where you can find the button with slight nuances in the content - Take the one which fits your needs: Logfile/Event View at the info tab (drivers in the logfile with UserId and ingame name), Event participants tab (only confirmed drivers), Series booking tab (all drivers of the series)

NEW 8) ACC Entrylist Exporters: Similar to the R3E exporters you can download entrylist files. However ACC delivers a json file which can be directly used at your dedicated server configuration. Driver Names, Steam ID, Car, Livery and Server Admins are taken from RaceApp ready to use in your server configuration. Comparing to latest early access version there are additional property fields in the file which bring more comfort for editing (customCar, defaultGridPosition, overrideCarModelForCustomCar)

NEW 9) Team Scoring: There are multiple options in the series settings to configure scratch results in team scoring. Either take the scratchers from the drivers results and apply them to the team score or scratch the worst team result(s). Furthermore it is possible now to manually override team score calculation at the event scoring page.

NEW 10) The driverprofile now has the option to store Raceroom UserIDs. This is a direct integration with the official Raceroom servers. Please ask all your drivers to fill out this additional field. This value will bring additional features in future like automatic application of performance weights in the dedicated server (spoiler!) The errorprone maintenance of the list of in-game names will hopefully be transfered to UserId logic aswell some day. For many users the Id was automatically extracted from the logfiles already.

There are some minor fixes aswell:
    - preventing duplicate Community Ids at the registration page
    - driver statistics background calculation is more cpu friendly and should not slow down App usage anymore
    - German Umlaute were not correctly displayed at eventlogs
    - slightly reducing ads
    - Time penalty was not correctly calculated if the lap counts where not the same

For feedback, critics, questions and ideas just drop me a line!

I missed to inform you about the 2004 update:
    1. The User Interface Framework was migrated to the newest version to be able to open the gates for the next features to come. With this migration it was a goal to give you a much improved experience on mobile devices. Mobiles and tablets adapt to landscape and portrait view and you can do everything in the mobile browser what is possible on PC. Keep me noted if you experience any issues!
    2. Start page shows communities where you are active first for quicker access
    3. Updates on Help texts, the banner and some cosmetics
    4. Backend preparations for upcoming features. URLs have no hashtag anymore, but old links are still perfectly valid
    5. Readability of event diagrams has been improved for endurance races
    6. Series Settings show more clearly the modes of team scoring now: Replacement Drivers / Best Of Team
    7. Empty Driver Tags show as [No Tag] now which is clearer than only -
    For other Sims:
    1. rFactor 2 Support is finally accessible for all users. Please have all eyes open as this package is very fresh and has not gone though intense testing.
    2. Fixes for ACC entrylist (firstName, lastName, forcedCarModel, UTF16 encoding, ballast and restrictor with 0 added)
    3. Support for 'Other Simulations' which do not provide a logfile. This is a Hello to every racer out there with a PS4 or XBOX and also to F1 drivers. You can use the app now in a reduced mode without logfile but you are able to use all other parts of it like the booking system or the event/series scoring.

    3. Several smaller fixes (Details listed on our Discord channel)
    4. The help page unveils the first information on our upcoming community supporter subscription. I think we have found some really nice premium features for you

Here are the release notes for the newest 2006 (June) Update!

    - Event Password control: It has an update button so you do not need to refresh the whole page anymore. But this is only a fallback scenario because there is also an auto sync. Literally in the same second when the event manager enters a new passwort all of the drivers get notified (incl. a little shake animation). Keep me updated if this works flawlessly!

    - Event password distribution: For driver swaps all teaming drivers are now permitted to see the password. Password distribution logic was also enhanced to support the scenarios with event confirmation On and Off. If you have it Off, all series registered drivers can see it. Having single event confirmation Off but guest signup On is also supported. Description texts in the series settings have been enhanced to document it more clearly.

    - iCAL calendar sync for all events of a community: It is separated for every simulation of the upcoming events. Never miss an event from your community anymore!
    - Social media sharing: Until recently plattforms showed only a standard image and a standard text if you shared RaceApp links to them. Now there is a logic for series and events to extract your individual input. The app uses the first .jpg or .png image you used on the series info tab. (fb, twitter, discord)

    - The text editor for the series info now supports an image browser also featuring an upload directly to the RaceApp storage.

    - Driver Email notifications: Get a notification when there is an upcoming event and you have not confirmed/cancelled your event participation yet. Find the settings in your new driver settings page. Further notification types can be added upon request.

    - Events with multiple runs: Navigation has been improved to jump between the event pages of the single runs. The shown event name is a calculation of the running number within the series.

    There are also some bugfixes:
[IMG] (ACC) with driverswaps: theoretical best laps were missing
[IMG] Other Sim: Calculation of team score in the event scoring editor was buggy
[IMG] Driver Tag Scoretables: Penalty points were not applied correctly
[IMG] Self Service registration was moved to the top of the screen in order to be better visible for new users
[IMG] (ACC) Entrylist did not contain the car numbers
[IMG] Series Settings: dropdown for class selection closed without action on any keypress
[IMG] (rF2) Pole position calculation failed if not all drives participated in qualifying
[IMG] (ACC) Session type R1 added

    Update 2007 is online now!

With this update we introduce a new way for you to support RaceApp. Thousands of drivers worldwide use RaceApp completely free of charge and get monthly updates and personal support on top - how could that possibly work? It's simple: I dropped all the plans for a community subscription model and instead I just ask for a small, voluntarily, monthly donation of all users! That means RaceApp will stay completely free for everyone.

If you support RaceApp you get 'Boosters', which allow you to support the community of your choice. As soon as a community reaches a total boosted value of 10 Euro all premium features get unlocked. This means you do not only support RaceApp but also your beloved community and give back some thank you to the guys who make all of this possible. Here are the details: https://raceapp.eu/Help?tab=pricing

Another aspect of this update is a brand new translation tool. So if you are interested to have RaceApp in another language (French, Spanish, Italian or whatsoever) get in contact and I enable you access to the online editor. It is quite some work because of the massive content we already have, but if we distribute that among the community it should be doable quite well.

One last thing: As we are waiting for the new ACC GT4 content to be released I have already added the cars which are known to our database. Of course there are no liveries yet, but you can already use them in the booking system.

All the best and stay safe, Chris
