I need help! I have downloaded Raceroom. When i try to start the game via the steam app, it´s loading and then there is nothing happend. When i push the game icon on the task bar, a small black window pop up dor a second and i can do nothing. When i start the game in VR mode, i can see the start page, but i can´t do nothing, because the mouse doesn't moving. Do you have any idea? Every other game is running without prob´s on highest graphic level. ACC and so on. Could you please check the Windows 10 event log for any error messages? You can also unplug every device from the computer except keyboard and mouse and try to start it. Is it Windows 10 Pro or Home? And which version?
Windows 10 Home 64bit @Bavarian, tell me how i can start a game on PC when the mouse and keyboard are disconnected. lol It´s not a prob with windows, because all other games are running with highest graphic options. @majuh nope, nothing both of them is installed or running in the backround. The gaming PC is built and setup by a professional computer store and i only use it for gaming and streaming. No other software is installed on it.
Well, that's why he asked you to... But...do you have some Corsair stuff installed? Like keyboard or mouse? They also often caused some problems with RaceRoom.
Nope, there is no Corsair stuff installed. But anyway, don´t understand what a keyboard or mouse have to do with this kind of problem. I can´t see the game in normal 64bit / 32bit mode on my monitor but in VR mode i can. That´s the prob and not the function from the mouse or the keyboard.
You have a tendency to not read very well, do you? It's a well known fact that quite a few users had huge problems with RaceRoom because of some weird incompatibility with Corsair gear. If you understand this or even acknowledge it as a possible reason for problems doesn't make this fact go away. This is why I asked you about it. Your keyboard and mouse were not listed in your initial post. Good luck...
I don´t understand the reason, why a mouse or a keyboard should block the start screen from a game. When it´s in the game itself, ok. But so it makes no sense. And again, i see the start screen in VR mode. All the other games are working fine. For me it must be a problem with the start option from the game and not with hard- or software.
