OmG...well, Eki did a Maldonado/Grosjean here .....quiet embarassing for someone who was judging collegues for exactly such actions not long ago - reminds me to Moscow last year, when he pushed out himself and Glock with an unneccessary move at the most inappropriate spot of that track... Like him very much but sometimes there seems to be a vaccum in his mind where responsible action is required...
Ekström is a national treasure and that Merc was asking for it. Also, every Blancpain race I'm reminded they have much cooler cars racing then the ADAC, and by that I mean the 488's and how dare you accuse me of fanboyism . Atleast we're getting the M6 and 650 I guess.
They don't have a Corvette in Blancpain and thats a very cool car ^^ (but gueststarts are planed in Blancpain-Series)
Touché and it's a car I'll admit gets quite a bit of use out of me in R3E, at least in GTE I get both.
unfortunately only in german, but still nice to watch if you can't understand anything: http://www.n-tv.de/mediathek/videos/auto/Porsche-917-ist-nicht-zu-stoppen-article18025896.html
Vettel broke one (amongst other things) because of an exploding rear right tire. And Rosberg could not resist to do another "Rosberg" but damaged his own car...
Haryanto gets funding for the remainder of the season.. It's good that Manor F1 gets money, but haryanto.. he's such.. yeah. Last driver of the grid. On the other hand, GET IN LAD, WEHRLEIN YOU ABSOLUTE BEAST. A POINT! SOLID PERFORMANCE.
Wehrlein got a point though, wich I find very special! But it's true, they've been evenly matched all year so far.
Wehrlein has really puzzled me this season.Last year, he did a great job in DTM and he went to F1 supposedly as a great prospect. But,it looks like Haryanto, who is considered a pay-driver,can match with him pretty well. Then, at Red Bull Ring, he puts on an excellent performance and secures a point and not through attrition. Some people are saying that this is due to track knowledge, but it's 2016,can track knowledge make that big of a difference?. Guess we will find the answer at Hockenheim...
I think after two seasons in GP3 and four in GP2, Haryanto has considerably more experience with Pirelli tyres, most of the current circuits and bigger formula cars in general. Meanwhile, Wehrlein has been racing mostly on Germany-based series and racetracks. This is his first ever race in Silverstone for example, which is pretty strange by today's standards.
