Cancelled/ "postponed" main automobil races due to Covid-19: Australian GP, F1 1000km Sebring, WEC 12h Sebring, IMSA The Formula E season so far "Ghostraces" St. Pete GP, Indycar Atlanta and Homestead races, NASCAR Bahrain GP, F1 More to come, sadly... If you know about others, feel free to post below. Greetings
I don't think there will be much racing until summer. Formula E season also suspended, the WTCR season opener in Hungary cancelled, Long Beach GP cancelled, F1 hopes to start the season in Baku...
I imagine they'll go down like dominoes now.. A shame, as having slowly built some momentum on visiting various venues over the last few years, myself and a mate had planned quite a packed schedule this year. I was even toying with heading out to Spa for the 24hrs. Obviously they're not important in the scheme of things, but while we're waiting for reality to come smashing home here in the UK, any disruptions to the year ahead are disappointing to read.
If you put that one in here then ill put another race in here that had plenty of real life drivers in it in here
NÜRBURGRING ENDURANCE SERIES STARTS THE SEASON VIRTUALLY https://www.vln.de/en/2020/03/17/nurburgring-endurance-series-starts-the-season-virtually/
Formula 1 going virtual as well Formula 1 has today announced the launch of a new F1 Esports Virtual Grand Prix series, featuring a number of current F1 drivers. https://www.formula1.com/en/latest/...e-postponed-races.1znLAbPzBbCQPj1IDMeiOi.html
The line-up for this one was straight up incredible. Just from the top of my head weve had race winner(s) from f1, f2, formula e, super formula, super gt, dtm, indycar, blancpain, adac gt masters, wec, the 24h of le mans, the 24h of nürburgring, the bathurst 12h, the indy 500 and probably many more im not thinking of right now. Then theres also champion(s) from f2, super formula, super gt, indycar, wec and formula e and possibly more as well. Can only recommend watching it
What a enormous speed the F1 cars have. Normally the tv cam follows the cars but with this footage, a steady cam alongside the track, shows the bizar speed.
I've been getting into the V8Supers over this past year, and there's some amazing stuff out there from Scott McLaughlin in particular. This final lap battle at Adelaide is intense: Those cars are the top of my wishlist for R3E.
