For years now in RR when I press replay in the menu or my shortcut (r) the game just continues and never goes to replay! Can some one enlighten me why I never have replays? Cheers Dan
When i click on the button to get to the replays it always takes a minute or so until they load. Have you tried waiting for a bit or do you always give up after a few seconds?
Im no expert on that function but i believe thats what in other games might be called rewind or flashback or something like that. Allows you to go back a few seconds and continue from that point on. If you wanna watch a full race replay you have to do that from the main menu. In the top right corner theres a camera symbol. If you click on that youll get to a list of all the replays which you can then click on and then click open and then itll load up the replay
Steam Library, right click on Raceroom Racing Experience, select properties at the bottom of the list, click on the "Set Launch Options" button and look for an entry that contains the words like -disable replay. Not 100% sure of the wording I am afraid.
sorry paul I changed my post above.. Yes - I did a reinstall just the other day, did not mess with those. I didnt know RR had a flash back option, I thought it just was a general normal replay function like RF2, ACC, AMS etc.
The other thing to check is in the options menu, select Gameplay settings, scroll the the very bottom. "Miscellaneous" and make sure that the "Save Replays to disk" is on.
I have and theres no replays there. Which would make sense to what Paul said. I just don't think any other sims needs saving the replays for you to actually see it, looking at similar engines sims, rf2 and ams.
That options only been introduced a couple of updates ago so id think you still should have some older replays. Have you tried clicking on the camera symbol yet?
