Looks great! During rFactor2 is getting more and more interesting … RaceRoom is losing my attention more and more, unfortunately. rFactor looks like a good alternative nowadays ...
Sorry R3E but … I have to mention this: rFactor 2 Summer Sale (06-21-2018 to 07-05-2018) More information: https://www.studio-397.com/2018/06/summer-sale-2018/ rFactor 2 for 14,99 €!!! - https://store.steampowered.com/app/365960/rFactor_2/
They just released the endurance pack! All the other packs are discounted! I doubt you'll ever see a game discounting newer content just after release.
Moreover, Steam's policy prevents discounts on newly released items I think (they must be at least 2-3 months old to be eligible)
Not perfect but better than everywhere else They even go on defensive line when you attack. Can't say anything serious about multiclass yet.
Yeah but those are pre-orders or early access Here are the exact rules by the way https://partner.steamgames.com/doc/marketing/discounts#5
Unless Im not seeing it, there is nothing in there that says you cannot provide a discount on a newly released game/dlc. In fact, it explicitly states that you can run a launch discount... unless you were referring to something else here: In sim racing, AC was pretty famous for running a discount on their Dream Pack 1 if you bought it immediately. I cant think of any company that would release some dlc and put it on a discount a week later though, so that whole discussion is a bit moot. It would have had a discount at release if it was going to get one at all that quickly.
Some people always complain about RF2 (just like on R3E), but I like their openness about known issues and how they try to adress and fix them. And although some fixes or improvements may take a while before they are deployed, you know they work on it. A bit like R3E only then even taken a step further.
Good to see a focus on fixes and enhancements rather than DLC and free additions. The DLC I understand as S397 have got to eat and pay bills however the GT3 DLC needs those fixes ASAP along with performance enhancements as the Endurance DLC runs a lot better.
Reiza and S397 to work on a rF2 Reiza pack: https://www.facebook.com/ReizaStudios/posts/10156658031352743
Well Steam added the cars automatically to my content. I'm pretty happy with them, these are REAL racing machines... I'm not really into open wheelers, but I like them, pure nostalgia and mega fun. Have not raced them yet though, just hotlapping on a few tracks. On another level, I'm not sure I will be happy with the addition of Reiza cars/tracks to the rF2 content. I still like to drive in AMS, but tbh, graphically they are too far behind. Even their best items don't match the actual rF2 content. Maybe the stuff that they want to add wil be reworked though...wait and see...
