'I believe if you are doing something like competing, like motor racing, you either do well or forget it.' - Ayrton Senna. RRLEAGUES SUMMER SLAM!! RRLeagues will this summer be hosting a championship like no other* and not only do we want you to participate, we want to hear your ideas too! We want to offer something different from the mainstream championships that focus on one car and one format for the entire season. Our idea is a 9 Round championship featuring a single different class at each round with different format and features at each race hopefully resulting in a more closely fought competition. Variable features such as elimination qualifying / flag rules / tyre wear / reverse grids / rolling starts / sprint races / fuel usage / mandatory pit stops / endurance races will make for a more exciting experience. Initial ideas to wet the tongue: GT3 @ Bathurst DTM @ Hockenheim NSU @ Brands Indy WTCC @ Macau AUDI TT @ Suzuka TATUUS F4 @ Silverstone National KTM @ Karlskoga DTM92 @ Zolder FR2 @ Spa The schedule is by no means final. We've got lots of content to go at so finding 9 matches made in heaven shouldn't be too difficult so if there's any specific combos out there that you would like to see please do comment, although there's no guarantee it will make the final line up. We realise this could be an expensive championship for people to run in so this is the main reason we choose not to run the event until June hopefully coinciding with a R3E summer sale, that and the organisation required! Oh yeah, there will be a VRP prize pot too to give incentive to ppl to participate! Probably not a very big prize as at the moment there is only a couple of contributors, but you never what could happen between now and then! Race night is likely to be on a Wednesday evening GMT/CET time. So, what are peoples thoughts and ideas on RRLeagues Summer Slam? Are you interested? please do comment below! RRLeagues main communication method is Discord. If you would like to join our group to see what else is going on, please PM me for an invite. We also have a Steam group here containing basic information. *similar championships may exist
