Seccondmonitor doesn't like if my video capture software starts first, so it doesn't happen if your app starts before anything else.

I've disabled HW acceleration for the UI, see if it helps. If yes, I will add it as an option in the settings.

Try to run the app in admin. Currently the app cannot check if the plugin is installed correctly, because it cannot fetch the AC executable path from the process.
If the plugin is installed correctly, it should work without admin rights.

The fps counter of the videocapture app doesn't show up in seccondmonitore anymore, so I think its fixed

 

Yep, so it looks like the videocapture doesn't like the app being hw accelerated. I will make this an option, with SW being the default, as it is obviously safer

 

ok i got the app in general to work but now the track is only showing a circle even after going round the track once. what do i need to do to get tracks to show as they should?

 

You need a clean timed lap.

on the latest version, cpu consumption varies significantly between 1.3% and 7%
the last one I looked at several weeks ago cpu consumption was more linear

 

I've released a new update with a small feature for those, like me, that sometimes cannot choose what to actually race. Now the application can create a list of random races (based on the contet it had already "seen").


In works is also the ability to have some randomness in custom championships, in two ways.
First will be the ability to insert "Mystery Tracks"

Which are basically "Random Tracks" which will be chosen as you're about to run the event.
The second will be something similar applied to classes. You will be able to switch classes mid championship (if you want), with the ability to also have "mystery class", a random class each championship event.

So in the end, you can have a series of full random races encapsulated in a championship

 

I will have a look, but not much changed in the logic in the last month. Everything was ui changes.

to edit? I would like to add something to the player's lap times page if I can?

I'm not an Excel connoisseur, but I would like to display the difference between the individual lap times and the fastest lap.

I have now done this once in a report, but unfortunately I can only save this report, since it is not the template.

another question, this time about arranging the information in the window.
How do I get every route shown correctly in the top left half of my layout? Due to the different size of the routes, some are too large for the room I selected (top left), then you only see a part. Can you set it so that the entire route always fits into the specified razum?

There is no templated, the whole generation is defined in code. But this is something I can add easily

Try to also set custom height for the map control. The map should scale to fit inside the area.

The color is based on the values that is shown in the car properties window (the second pic in your post). For R3E the values are intialized from telemetry, from TireTemp array, which contains Optimal, Cold and Hot temps.

One neat trick to get/double check optimal tyre temperatures and pressures in a sim is to use the challenge/hot lap mode. There the pressures and temperatures are preset to start at optimal values.

Second monitor telemetry
Hey, need some help here. I’m used to running Motec and just getting rolling with 2Monitor.
I think I have everything installed and it’s up and running, but I got’s some questions.
The “telemetry viewer” shows laps in the box, but there is no data filled in on the whole screen.
How do you load the ‘laps’. I can find them on the HD, the *.xls files, but when you pick them, it never loads them.
The 2M screen shows the lap sequence at the top, but after the race it just shows the cool down after the finish.
How do you get lap 3 loaded?
I have the tire/temps & stuff box, but it is just at the finish line.
How do you see what the temps are as you had drove around the track?
At the top of the screen it lists all the racers and their positions. When you click on a racer, it just opens another box with your lap/sector times.
How do you load/show the data for that lap?
Looking at what others have posted, I can’t get any of that telemetry graphs to show anyway/anyhow.
What am I missing?
I looked at the manual, but it sayes to click this and that, and I can’t figure out what to ‘click’ as it doesn’t do anything.
