Has Raceroom a file with all my profile settings? If so, where is it located? I reinstalled Raceroom thinking that copying files form My Documents=>My Games is enough but all settings are gone...
Key assignments, forcefeedback and all the rest. Does the game overwrite those files during reinstalation? It shouldn't...
No, this stuff isn't touched during the installation. You can find the controller settings in UserData\ControlSet.
Nope, my profile is gone. Even graphics settings are different. Sorry for replying after so long time but I was out of Raceroom for 2 months.
Now I searched deeper in my files and I have all my Raceroom profile files in "My Documents" folder but not in the game. Wtf? In January I did Windows reinstall and than I installed Raceroom once again. For instance - I have all my old replays in the "MD" folder but in the game there are only replays made after the reinstall. Maybe the fact that I have "My Documents" folder on the different disk partition than system partition have something to do here? I doubt it but... Or maybe a path with main game folder? Because I installed Raceroom in the different path than previously. Anyone have any clue?
The game is probably using another folder for your game settings right now instead of the one in "My Documents". Try searching your hard drives for one of the settings files, there probably should be versions in two different locations. Did you enable controlled folder access in Windows? Maybe the game is unable to access your folder in "My Documents".
