I seem to have an annoying problem, that is FPS counter in Shadowplay doesnt activate in RRE. I can see the little round recording symbol from SP (shadowplay) but not the FPS icon. It works in all but this game. Please is there a reason why. Please dont say use steam fps, i want a global one to work across all my games regardless of platform. Is fraps still good to use, i heard that it can effect performance? I do hear SP is the best to use. Dan
Well that would have been my answer but what annoys me much more about Shadowplay with RRE in this context is, that you can`t record the replays ( works flawless with Dirt Rally btw.) which would be a much better way to create some interesting vids instead of boring dashboard/cockpit cam videos recorded "live"....if there is a free alternative don't hesitate to name it
I use "open broadcaster software" to record video from replays for bug reports. Works very well and produces high quality videos if you configure it right.
@MsportDan No, doesn't work for me either...guess thats the reason I was glad Steam has it that time well Fraps then...? Thx Chris, appreciated
Having the same issue with RRRE and shadowplay. Recording videos is working, but no fps counter. In other games the fps counter is working just fine. I can still use the Steam fps counter, but it gets recorded if you take a video from RRRE, while the shadowplay fps counter wasn't recorded by the shadowplay video recorder IIRC. So I'd prefer to use the shadowplay fps counter. It is bigger too, thus making it better visible.
Same for me, no more FPS counter (steam one work), recording work aswell . I'de prefer the shadowplay FPS counter witch is easier to read than steam one
From what little I know about shadowplay, it doesn't seem to like games being in windowed mode. Could this be the case here, did you make sure R3E is in fullscreen mode?
yep I double checked. Strange thing is RRe is the only game that works with MSI gaming apps OSD FPS display?! No game works with that lol
The Problem with the fps counter can be solved. I had the same problem. It disapeared when i turned on the trackmap in cockpit. I checked it to off and the fps counter was visible. Try it.
hm, when reproducable it sounds like a bug... Should be checked and maybe it's already solved with the upcoming HUD?!
