Try adding a small amount of upper deadzone to your throttle input. Some pedals have issues in RR that the sensor can go over-centre and cause spikes.

    Ok! I'll try that tomorrow.

    Hi.

I've just done some tests by adding a deadzone on the throttle.
I was able to drive for 2 hours without any problems.:)

Maybe it's a coincidence, because by removing the deadzone, I was able to continue without problems

Thank you for looking at my problem
If it happens again, I'll come back to talk about it. :D

    Hi !
I come back to RRE since 1 week and I've got the same problem since yesterday, as you can see in the vidéo.
I've detected this issue on GT4, WTCR and Aquila for the moment. With Porsche Cup, Porsche GT2 and GT3 I didn't see this trouble for the moment.
Surprisly, I've any problem with Cayman trophy but it's impossible to drive Cayman GT4.
    I tryed :
    - 5% dead zone on throttle, 10% on clutch
    - calibration in profiler of my Fanatec V3i pedals
    - car setup is default
    - issue appears online and offline, on several tracks
    - I tried 3 diffferents simus ans any troubles
    - gear box is on "manual" option, but "manual + auto clutch" option gives the same results

I hope you'll be able to help me, dear @Alex Hodgkinson and sorry for my poor english

Hi @eblochperso. I've spent the last hour trying to reproduce the issues you're having and I can't, not even once. It makes me wonder if there's an issue with your throttle input. Possibly some very small spikes which have been known to cause the issues you're showing.

What I'd suggest is deleting and re-binding your pedal inputs, validate game files through steam. Then it's still the same we should take a look at your throttle inputs using something like second monitor or RST to look if we can see any spikes.

@Alex Hodgkinson , problem seems to come from peripherics, specially handbrake. I disconnected it and the issue disappeared. More, I just cancel the bind in the game, with keep it connected, and I didn't have any problem this afternoon.
I have to confirm in next days but I'm really confident.
But I can't manage to understand the link between my handbrake and the engine's revs.

Interesting discovery. It makes total sense to me - currently our game automatically presses the clutch once you engage the handbrake in order to stop stalling. That's actually something we've already looked at changing recently.

For now either you can either remove the handbrake binding entirely or maybe you have a way to add a deadzone to it through it's drivers?

No, the driver don't allowed to add a dead zone.
More, as you can see, there is allways a little action from the handbrake.

I try to reset and pareter it but without effects. Maybe the solution is mechanical with an stop adjustement.

The most important is to have solved this problem, handbrake is not really important in RRE ;)

Thank you for your reactivity and your help.

You're welcome, glad I could help.

It would actually be possible to add a deadzone to the game controller profile (rcs) with some manual editing.

If you can find the correct devicename inside your .rcs file you can simply add a small amount (say 0.1) to the line I have shown below:
