First thing I imagined when I saw your rig with all those shifters :)

LOL...it's not as confusing as one might think. I was hoping to remove the TH8A shifter (on the right side of the photo) as it is connected directly into the TS XW wheel base so when mapping the 'Shift Up' and 'Shift Down' in Sims you can use either the TH8A Sequential or Paddle Shifters...BUT connecting the TSS in Sequential mode directly into the TS XW wheel base does not work as a Sequential shifter....so I have 2 Sequential shifters at the moment.
Tried the software 'JoyToKey'......absolutely brilliant...so now I can map my TSS in Sequential, Map the Paddle Shifters and TH8A in Sequential which is connected to my TS XW and map them all together in Sim to the 'Shift Up' and 'Shift Down'...they all work together...you can use all three Shifters while driving if you what to....lol

    +1 Joy2key is awesome!
I also use this and have two profiles, one for sequential / paddles, and one for H pattern shifters. :)

Sorry about the crappy pics from my crappy phone, obviously I'm no David Baily:)
Just moved all my stuff into my own little corner and still need to shuffle things round and do some serious cable management, its what you might call a work in progress.

Finally got around to build a seat that originally came out of a 1988 Peugeot 205 GTi 1.9 and which I had lying around at home for about 10 years:

    [IMG] [IMG]

I found an old chair at home and sawed its base apart in the middle and attached the two now separated sides of the base to the Peugeot seat, and somehow it worked out perfectly with the bolt patterns as well. Unfortunately I couldn't use the original sliding mechanism so it had to be ditched. I then chopped off the legs so it would sit a a perfect height for my IKEA simrig...I mean desk.

Such a nice seat and now you can drive for hours without feeling any discomfort.

I design and build cockpits. Working on a full motion rig that will be responsibly priced and compact.

I purchased the Thrustmaster Sparco Handbrake because it is readily available at my local Computer Superstore along with most of the other Thrustmaster wheels etc....unfortunately I have not any experience with the Fanatec Handbrake so I can not compare or comment on whether it is better...all I can suggest is read Reviews or watch You Tube reviews on the products interested in.
...the Heusinkveld Handbrake got a great review on 'The Sim Racing Garage'...it looks very good...link below

I'm getting back into DIY'ing my rig now spring is here. First I wanted to get wind sorted properly. I had it before but never had a proper outlet solution.
I use a Symprojects fan controller and 2 PC fans.
I found a couple of Audi TT air vents on ebay and took them to B&Q (DIY store) to see what I could find for a housing solution. After an hour I ended up in the drainage section where I found a perfectly sized drain joint. It's industrial rubber so very strong yet flexible. I had already ordered some 100mm black flexi hose which would connect between the fan housing and the air vents.
I wanted a big industrial looking solution to match my rig, hence the chunky design. I also wanted a proper air vent so I could not only direct the airflow but also turn it off the flow when not needed and is it's from a car, it does just that.
I've temporarily mounted them to try things out today, but the end solution is they will be integrated into my dashboard, when I finally get round to making something :D
