Im quite partial to some ''mood lighting'' around my man corner too..

I can see me shopping for MDF board, making a stencil of ''THE''Nords and jigsawing that out,
solder a custom LED strip, bingo....
    *Love that wall light!!!

Upgraded my rig from a speedmaster pro to a motedis s dream and I must say..what a difference! Day and night! Sturdy like a tank, no more twist and flex, all applied forces are going into the wheel / pedals, better seat position, it just feels a little bit more like driving a racecar. Just looking for a proper bucket seat now. And thinking about some diy extensions for keyboard and mouse.

Same for me. I came from a playseat. The first time I started a race with my SimLab GT1 EVO rig, I felt so happy. Such a difference.. solid as a rock.

Solid rig is the way to go. When you install direct drive and if you prefer stronger force feedback you will probably need a few extra support brackets. The beauty of having profiles, its flexible and endless configuration options.

Well, all you still need is a Flux Capacitor developed by Dr. "Doc" Emmett L. Brown ;)

My first attempt at a DIY button box. I was looking into buying one, but then stumbled across a youtube vid that highlighted how (relatively) easy it was to do your own.

So I really like the the look of the Turn Racing rims but to be honest the higher cost shipping and custom back to UK compared with what I went for in the end made a huge saving, and got the same result I was looking for...
So hello to my DImSim rim..all 318mm, what I like about these is they are made for the Uni Hub.

My latest steering wheel is ready!
I would like to take the chance to thank R3E and S3S for all their work to make this game even more better every day. This wheel is dedicated to you guys, many thanks!
And thank you Peter from "Peter makes things" youtube channel! Without him this would'nt be possible. He designed and printed the hub with the magnetic shifters. Perfect engineering and print quality. Thank you Peter!
    Link to his channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCNIarZUTPmbJOxmcZY-CN8A

So, here it is, my "Ferrari 643" steering wheel for Raceroom FR90!

    Dsc_0361.jpg

The wheel is based on a 260mm Momo Mod.26 which was extremly hard to find. Peter liked the idea and did the hub with the magnetic paddles and the two button for the frontside. The QR is also his design. Shifter and button are connected to the base with an Arduino Nano that emulates a Thrustmaster wheel, so it's plug and play at its best.

This is a dream come true, and sitting in a V12 FR90 in RRRE with this wheel in your hands is awesome. Thanks RRRE and thanks Peter!

I’m not gonna take a look. I don’t want to be spoiled, Same for the DD wheels. Would love to buy one because everybody seems to like it so much. I have a CSW v2.5 and that works fine for me but won’t if I look to much to this kind of vids. :D

Some things are better left alone, and easier on the wallet.

True! It's dangerous starting to change, doing upgrades and getting new, more expensive ideas to the sim rig!.. .:D
