Oh yes. This one is more interesting to me personally than the 'other long one', and can't wait to see your version of it. Spa is for GT and Touring Cars what Monaco or Monza are for F1, what Le Mans is to prototypes, what Daytona NASCAR - cannot wait to try it in what is, in my opinion, the best simulator for those car types. Thanks for the three start/pit configurations - I had been worried we'd only get one, two seemed reasonable but three is perfect. Even more so when the bigger grids come into play...
I'm extra impressed now, there were two minor things I noticed that weren't right in the preview video (bank on the outside of Pouhon entry and no camper vans on the outside on the run down to Bruxelles) that have both been sorted; this looks like the most accurate representation of the Spa I've seen for the events I've been to, the 24 Hours, 1000km and Six Hour classic. https://m.flickr.com/photos/raceroom/ By the way, there are many more pictures on the flickr account that aren't in the OP that I've just been drooling over. Can any of the beta testers tell me whether it takes more resources than other tracks or is it as well optimised as most?
Thanks for the link, Rodger. Those images are staggeringly good. Simply amazing work by the track guys yet again. By far and away the best looking version of Spa I've seen.
If you can run what's in the game already you'll have no problems with Spa, no need to change settings. I think Macau is still considered the most demanding one we got, although my personal benchmark is Raceroom Hillclimb (due to the amount of shadows).
My Mac that I normally run R3E on is in the shop getting the display replaced and I'm waiting on a new Windows System. It's killing me!!
