    it looks interesting, but without on board camera, definitely is not for me

    Bought this when it was first released. Highly recommended.

    It's an impressive little game considering the small team behind it.

    This. In fact, 3rd person camera suits this game far better than cockpit view. The fact is that sometimes Spintires is almost like a off-road puzzle game, where you need to see exactly where your tires are to keep going or unstuck yourself. It would be pretty difficult to play Spintires just looking forward from your cockpit, even if you have mirrors.

    Simply an amazing game and it has the best terrain/off-road physics code.

    Would be ace in VR mode, so you could stick your virtual head out of the side window and look at the wheels. :)
