Hi. I just noticed last night there are assigable buttons for stiffness.
Does this apply a click to both front and rear together?
Does the RR API and or OSD dash report the new value after the change?
Will my car change back to predefined values as set in garage setup when entering a new session?
Any information anyone has about this would be helpful please.
    Thanks.

The spring tension assignments....Pretty sure they're just leftovers that don't do anything.

Ok. Thanks. Why would something that doesn't work still be there?

    Lazy Devs. :p

Jokes aside, eherm..., maybe they were planning to have such a feature but it wasn't feasible in the end.
And then it kinda went off the screen and people forgot it's even there.

    EDIT:
Well now...let me just finish that bowl of my own words...There.

Turns out it is not a case of lazy dev but lazy me and the spring tension setting does have a working function.
Notice how these two options sit beneath a distance setting for the swingman camera, turns out the spring tension is a swingman camera setting as well. It determines how fast the camera will follow the cars movement, the speed of the swing so to say.
Just imagine the swingman camera being held in place by virtual springs, those springs' stiffness can be changed with that setting.

We live and we learn. :) Hope it's clear now what it's there for.

    Cheers

    Christian

Not directly, no, only the camera chasing the car and it's freedom of movement.

Understood it was controlling the camera movement. The chase cam isnt fixed directly behind the car but is allow to spring slightly left or right if the car is doing sharp turn
