Hi, Just want to know why, when I'm in 1st gear on the grid, waiting for the start of the race, I'm automatiquily on "Neutral" when the lights turns red...??? I find that a bit strange, just saying...
Are you driving with automatic gearshift or manual? I'm not having a behaviour like that. When it switches to the race waiting for the startinglights im in neutral, switch in 1st gear and it stays in 1st gear till the race is started.
I'll second that. When I shift into first gear it stays in first gear. @Viggdred : In which mode are (Amateur, Profi, Get Real) you? Have you checked your "auto clutch" setting? Have you switched your gearshift mode (h-pattern or sequential; sorry, I don't know the option's proper name)?
Drive in Get Real, Manual gears, no Automatic clutch. It's just that if I put 1st gear before the lights appears, I'm back to Neutral when they appears.
hm, than I guess you mean the Garage-phase? So the minute-break between quali and race? If it is that, I have the same behavior but it is ok for me as I that isn't meant as Start-Preperation.
Yes, if I shift into 1st during the countdown to race (before the lights show up), it shifts back to neutral when the lights show up.
