Steam down again, login impossible and no chance to play / drive R3E! There are over and over again problems with Steam. Sector3 Studios should became independent of this spoilsport provider called STEAM as fast as possible. ... I go cycling ...
Fine for me too No problen at all and I like Steam + R3E, I can sell some stuff from other games and buy some stuff in R3E - very handful!
I keep getting disconnected from steam while using comms, usually mid sentence or mid race, it can be annoying but not as bad as PSN used to be and only rarely effects my racing. Can't complain to be honest, after so many years with PSN, Steam is a god send! lol
If you have no access to R3E by using your Steam desktop icon, here is one of the solutions: 1. Go to: http://store.steampowered.com/ 2. Log in with our name and password 3. If Steam shows you some browser issues then follow the instructions to fix the problems 4. Open your email program and verify the received email from Steam 5. Click on your Steam desktop icon and log in again 6. Finished Steam sucks!
These Steam-Hickups are still there but since a while I noticed a window popping up after Updates, showing a protocol of what has been fixed - I still miss some more gizmos and fancy stuff, flickereing lights, alerts or a little jingle, or additional apps to enhance previous apps (or so). Noone can say they don`t care for us, don't they ?
I got kicked from RaceRoom last night during a race, when I got back to the steam portal it had "syncing" in a blue highlight next to the game, first time that's happened to me. Has to be a steam issue, a quick check on my current connection saw me at 158Mb download, 13Mb up. Can't say I was happy about that.
