Hi guys, i just build a small graphics mod with the well know Sweet FX Enhancement.

All you need is to download the Zip in the link and extract the content into your .../Steamapps/raceroom racing experience/Game folder. Its the Folder with the RRRE.exe.

After extracting the game will automaticly start with the moded graphics. To enable/disable the effect and see the difference ingame, push the "scroll lock" key on your keyboard.

To de-install the mod, just delete the files from the Zip out of your Game directory. They don´t overwrite any files.

Here are some Screens to show what it will do. Hope you like it!

well i myself have the highest options available. But it works with every other option too. Sweet FX lays above your Graphics like a filter. Performance loss with active mod is about 5% here.

I will test this. Looks great :).

Was a bit confused with which was the "roll" key. Found that it's what we call "scroll lock" on non german keyboards ;)
Perhaps a change in the English information could be useful.

i don't know why but this tweak looks horrible on my monitor. Way too much contrast for me and doesn't look natural at all.

How can you adjust the contrast? I want to give it another try with other settings.

Thanks for that info. About to change now :)

Maybe you changed the Shaders/Moods of the game. That will cause a very unrealistic color managment. I created this mod for the Default-Mood.

yeah, in the video i tested it with the realistic mood. But with the default mood it looks much better.

I don't try it yet, but i can agree about contrast. Look at the screenshots. Low details in the shadow and to much sharpening (look for the grass). But color gamma in cockpit looks way better then deafult, i like it.

Does it not work with triple screen, or do I need to adjust something? The change only applies on the center screen and it distorts the FoV on that screen by showing the whole wide screen.

If you familar with color correction software. You can make screenshot, then load it to free DaVinci Resolve software to inspect it

I always liked RR-graphics a lot, more than Project Cars for example. But this is great.

Thank you very much. I use it with the games default mood and it is a fantastic improvement. For me a must have. Sharper, deeper and more immersive. I have w10, a fx6300 and a Radeon R9280x and get 50 frames average with 17 opponents and full game settings. (60 fps average before.)

I know Spa at any day- and nighttime myself and your mod moves the picture to the real mood. (Also posted this on Racedepartment)

wow, nice, this is exactly what I wished to see :) I was always wondering why the game looks so dull. Would be cool I we could adjust the look in game. Got to try this mod this evening :)

I have SweetFX installed in R3E (using this mod as the base and then I made a few tweaks to values here and there) and it didn't overwrite anything when I unzipped it. I also tested removing it and everything was fine afterward. The key is to only delete the files that are included in the zip. If you delete the folder without thinking about it, you'll break stuff.
For me, the increase in quality with the SweetFX filters is worth the slight performance penalty.
