    Hello everyone,

I am Fábio Ramos, from Portugal.
I'm 24 years old and currently I am studying mechanical engineering.

My favourite hobby it's RC cars, where I got the Portuguese National champion title and also got a semi final presence in the European Championship.

Like many other persons I can't stay with only one hobby and I am a racing car lover, so I jumped to sim racing at 1 year ago!

Now I wanted to put some of my knowledge and also my passion together and make a nice project for my self!

Let me present my project, fully made by my self:

The idea is to be a direct replacement to the original steering wheel!

Due to carbon fiber the weight loss is big and with this the FFB is improved.

Also some leather or Alcantara will be added to be more confortable and provide improved grip to your hands.

Please let me know your opinions, and any information you need, feel free to ask!

    Best regards,
    Fábio

Very nice indeed, by the looks of it you can bolt the original wheelbox/buttonbox/paddles right on.

Thank you Jim Eriksen! The first steps are the slowest ones... Check measures, adjust measures... But after all the measures and drawings done, things should get faster!

At the moment I am focused on checking the measures, next step will be produce the first prototype and check the handles, if they fit well on hand :)

    Thank you for the support!

Today I did a small sample in paperboard of the steering plate.

Tomorrow if time allows, will check measures.
