After three - what shall I call it - updates, ACC is still really bad IMO. I know it is still EA, but even then, it is a mess. It looks bad, it drives bad, it still has no triple screen support (I know...UE4), controls are a mess, FFB is still not up to par (OSW here).. hell, even AMS cockpits look more natural and less cartoon like.
Higly dissapointed. What's the point of having trees with a bunch of seperate leaves if the cockpit view is so bad ?
    I'll choose R3E any time.
I have managed to get 4 hrs of driving atm. Good thing is that it was cheap in EA and I'll see it as a kind of support for Kunos and hope they will come out with something better in the future.
I fear the choice for UE4 was a really bad decision.

    Donington Park 1938

… I would love to see such tracks in R3E too. Maybe we get the modern version of the Donington Park in the next time at the least.

Assetto Corsa thread... :D it is present there.
In RaceRoom my cars also want to turn left after Cooper Straight, but there is a bunch of tires blocking the (as far as I can see) present road...

    lol … nice idea :D

Sorry guys, but I have to say that the Donington Park (fast, smooth, elevation changes, deep history) is my number first GB track followed by the Rockingham Motor Speedway. If we get at least half of the total number of this track list: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TOCA_2_Touring_Cars :D, then we can really count yourself lucky.

Hooopsala! I admit I did not know how advanced this stuff is, cared only for tracks so far.

It illustrates were possibly Raceroom's biggest vulnerability lies: no significant modding that could go this far beyond the allowed limits.Yes, ther are advanatges in keeping things controlled and tightly sealed, yes, IknowIknow. But there is also a price to pay.

My question would be why Kunos themselves didn't implement such a feature ?
And lets wait what S3 has still up their sleeves, Modding, no matter how stunning some results may appear, is always a double-edged sword that mostly oscilates between "awesome stuff" and "what a load of redundant crap" that ruins everything...

rFactor and rFactor 2 is proof of this. A few standout mods and a lot of crap mods (and I say this as a fan of rF2).

As for AC weather, ToD & shader modding, it is proof there was life left in the AC engine. It makes me wonder why Kunos didn't get the Content Manager developer onboard along with the shader and weather modder(s). UE4 has been underwhelming thus far in ACC unless you are playing at 4K as indicated by Gamer Muscle.

Needing to go hard on the brakes about 400-500 m before a corner isn't really good physics either in my book. I have driven the street counterpart (also Cosworth) a few times on track (a loooong time ago) and the feel was much closer to the version I posted (I have only the DTM version installed btw...)

Well, if you go faster in a faster car you have to brake earlier with similar brakes. Nothing wrong with them, from my experience. Lap times in various tracks are very close to reality. The other version has double wishbones in front (if memory serves) and rear, which, as I said, has nothing to do with the real car.

ACC is fighting against ACM (assetto corsa moders) and its losing the battle. Incredible
