As what I know, the both tracks in Gotland Ring is not designed by Tilke, it is designed by Alec Arho Havrén, but I may be wrong though. https://www.roadandtrack.com/car-culture/a27892486/gotland-ring-is-the-worlds-most-unlikely-track/
I'm not sure about that. There's quite a number of Grade 1 circuits that are good and they are pretty different so there's still a lot of freedom in what can be created. I agree there's something going on, whatever it is. Could we blame it all on Tilke? Again, not sure. Bilsterberg and Chang were built in 2013 and 2014, so fairly recent but they are good, although they aren't Grade 1. Sepang and Instanbul park are good Grade 1 circuits and they always produced good races, but they aren't used anymore because they weren't profitable enough. It looks to me that "make the circuit exciting" isn't nearly a top priority for F1 track investors and management and I don't think Tilke is responsible for that.
Saw a post by Alex about San Juan Circuit in Argentina, said it was "just an appreciation post" Dont think we've exhausted minor European circuits, but it would be cool to get some examples from South + central America
I've just noticed that on the image for weekly event, it doesn't look like natural daylight. Or am I blind.
Maybe it's a mixture of late evening and a bit of Photoshop? But I had the same thought as you when I saw it.
I think you're right. Either it is a 'photoshopped' image to make it look even more spectacular, or could it be evening/night driving is introduced (for some events/cars/tracks)...? Would be great for races in the prototype or GT cars.
So the prize is a PS4, Gazoo Racing merch, and its a Toyota of India sponsored event... Something doesn't add up, but its on Raceroom. So good?
I might be having a blonde moment or its pretty late here in Japan but i see Porsche and AMG so lot of German love for sure but Asian, where?
Legacy Racing Team is an Asian racing team which uses a Mercedes and it looks like we get their Livery. And the BMW of Turner Motorsport aswell as the 2 new Porsche are racing in America.
