Come on boys and girls, time to come clean.
What is the very, very worst car you have ever owned or had a go of.
We have all done it; heart before head...
Look lovely in the showroom, breakdown on the way home...
    So tell us all.

Me; Land Rover Defender Mark 1.
Wish I still had it now, so I could sell it.
    Worth loads now..
Wanted one because I thought it looked 'cool'.
    Slow, beyond slow.
Crawling on your hands and knees uphill would of been quicker.
No heater, so I had to dress like an south pole explorer in the summer.
Make in the UK, like me, so did not work, like me.
Useless, unless you lived in a swamp.

early 2000's Chrysler Sebring convertible. Hateful. 6 speed auto but *every* gear was either way too long or way too short, top kept coming open on the freeway, handled like a rice pudding, slow as a slow thing yet still managed to be thirsty and noisy, looked crap, and most importantly *wasn't the Mustang that I'd bloody well paid for*. Truly awful car.

89 Buick Regal - electrical issues, blown alternators, and of course power steering going out when you least expect it.

Renault R4, tin box on wheels, fun to drive when you're young and stupid but actually had a lotta trouble with. Exchanged engine cause cylinderhead was blown, while changing, the cooler was damaged (somehow), than the gear box ...it ended with trying to tow it with 60 km/h to get the engine started at least: No way- so I kicked that bitch out of sheer frustration until it was completely dented :D
After that we left it to rot at my pal's workshop....

PS: Best was a 72 Beetle, totally reliable and nearly undestroyable....:)

Many guys would hate me now. My Company car a BMW 318d.
    1. I hate diesel, but this is the worst i ever driven. The MB C220 was more fun.
    2. Too much fiddeling with technical stuff i dont need.
    3. That technical stuff, Sensors for every shit. Do I really need a rainsensor? And the popups on the dashboard "That is empty, that is that and that is this. " blinking here and there. Dammit im a human i can do stuff by my self.
    4. Even i am a small guy, i feel like in a cage, and thats not ok for me in a everyday car.
But this is not only BMW, most newer cars dont apeal to me because of this.
Maybe im a grumpy guy from the past, but my old 00 Forester has everything i need. Reliable technic, nice sound, enough space, no ESP/ASR, start/stop shit or 10trillion drive modes. 300000km still going. Thats a car for men, new ones are for brainAFK driving (exept Lada Niva:D

on summer, when a teen I used to snatch the keys from my uncle and go rallying on the dirt roads around my village in northern greece. The car had the response of a sleepy rhino,on bends it would tilt like you cant imagine but I did have tons of fun with it.
One time I had 4 friends inside and took a jump at top speed,100km or sth,the landing was quite painfull for our necks but even more for the car, front right and rear left shocks broke, so the car became a see saw.remember it like yesterday good times bad bad car

Worst car for me was a Hyundai Grandure. Had all the bells and whistles. Power this, electric that, but they all broke, stopped working or just plain fell off. It was the Best Looking P.O.S i ever owned.:mad::(

The only bad car I ever owned was the Mazda 929 Coupé, my third car.
It was heavy, slow, needed A LOT of petrol and started rusting all over the place when it was 6 months old.
Sold it after less than a year. A real nightmare...

    Renault Mégane 1.6 from 1996.

It was the car of my wife when I met her.
I will not suffer from nausea with VR, got used to seasickness with this "car".
Seats without any support, when closing the door it sounded like sitting in a empty can of fish, fuel and oil trickled, rusted from one hour to the other.
The worst were suddenly jamming drum breaks at the rear axle at 100 kph.
    I'm glad we survived.:D
It soon got it's nickname: Glump, frankonian expression for junk.
edit: lol, fits perfectly to my avatar

My worst car was without a doubt a Peugeot 309 GTI
    [IMG]
It was my second car after a Peugeot 205 xs (what a rocket) - and I thought i could take a step higher with the 309. The problem was that sometimes the engine stalled while driving. So i bumped and banged back and forth between driving this thing while trying to keep it on the road. That was a pleasure... After that i bought an old M5 E34 -> what a pleasure when it was raining and the streets where wet :)

Not owned but drove an old junker my bro lent me when on hols a few years back, was a mid 90s Toyota Corolla being held together by rust, every panel was a different colour, it was dented, the windscreen was cracked, wipers did not work, exhaust held on by wire, half the gauges did not work. How it was registered I have no fricken idea!
