Problem Time not getting posted in Competitions or Leaderboards

    Hi, guys,

    Yesterday and today I tried running the F3 competition. I drive a timed lap, it tells me what division and position I'm in but when I look at the leaderboard my time is nowhere to be seen. If I restart the event, it doesn't even show my position.

    I tried a leaderboard and I get a similar behavior.

    I cannot tell if this is the result of the latest update, as I haven't tried these game modes in some time.

    What should I check? Also, what ports does the game use to connect to the leaderboard servers?

    I find that I need to drive a complete lap after a new leaderboard time is done, if not the time just gotten will not get entered on the leaderboard. This may be what you are experiencing.

    Usually they finally appear after a delay, but the day they released the WTCR I did 2 valid times on this leaderboard and they never showed up. o_O
    But since this problem other times have been recorded.

    on my game, no times recorded in leaderboards, i ever get a message like this

    Hi guys! It's good to know I am not alone :) . Rich, I tried yesterday to do a clean, valid lap after the timed lap and it was still not posted. Guess we'll have to wait for the next patch for this.

    Rest of the game works just fine though, had a lot of fun racing the Aquila in the sunset light :cool:

    Its weird, i was having this problem for a few months. The only thing that seemed to work for me was to make sure i did a lap after, than my time seemed to be added to the leaderboard. Now it appears my times get added with no delay. No idea what has changed. This started about a week ago...

    ok thank you my problem happened just after the last update. even if I do several times in succession, the times are not taken into account

    Do you guys have any Firewalls or Antivirus-Tools running while playing?
    It is known that those tools can block the communication to the Raceroom-Servers while playing.

    Thanks! I've checked and web protection and firewall were both disabled in AVG. The Windows Firewall is not set to block outgoing connections. I will do more testing with AVG off when I can, maybe there is another component that causes this, though I never had such a problem before.

    Guys, just wanted to let you know that after all this time I finally confirmed it is solved by uninstalling AVG and replacing with another solution (Sophos Home). So I'm now happily back on the lower part of the leaderboards :D .

    Seems as though I'm having the same issue (don't want to open a new thread) so hoping it's the same.

    Message is
    "The upload of your performance on the leaderboard failed".

    The game does register the time for a second before though - ie shows the time and position I am on the leaderboard but I'm then greeted with the above message and it's wiped.

    Will look into anti-virus workarounds and post results.

    Apologies for the double post - I've tried everything here, whitelisted all appropriate applications, switched off my virus software. It seems as though it could be server side as it's showing the result for a few seconds then displays that above message.

    I have the same problem and also use Bitdefender. NO TIME UPLOAD! Which data is responsible for uploading the challenge times???
    Maybe I can fix that with firewall rules than...
