I wouldnt call it one eyed if 41 out of 56 entries is with the Civic
Not that i want you to change the rules, just find it weird we can drive another car than we sign up with..
Dont have the Civic so cant choose the "easy" way either..

You can use whatever car because otherwise it would be 'unfair' (despite the Honda not having an advantage) and everyone would choose the Honda for the season as a consequence, so they get to Div1. Like I've said before, look at it from the other side of logic.

Challenging current 24th I can be 2.5 tenths up at S2, but then lose 0.5 in the last... Right pain in the wotsit. At work today so no more time..

 

Yeah Sector3 is where I screw my lap 9 out of 10 times. The right flick has so little margin!

You are absolutely right.. Tonight i should have another half an hour to get another tenth or maybe 2 out of it..

Edit: Already took my half an hour and improved my Citroen's setup a bit which resulted in P21 with an improvement of 0.153..=> wonder if this improvement will be enough..

 

phew...just scraped myself into the 9's, 0.35 off the leaders and top chevy

I can't believe how close it is, I mean before i thought it was, but it's ridiculous now top 40 is covered by 1 second!! server 1 is half a second....

 

This pre qualifying allows people with less skills but with enough time to get into div 1 and leaves the skilled guys with not much time in diff 2. only the race will show who's pace is really good enough for div 1. To me this is similar to gt academy

ive spent 1.5 hour to learn the track and put a time. I do understand why its done this way, because it allows people to adjust their schedule and go for a hotlap session. so yea its good and bad at the same time.

 

Normally these pre-qualis are close but this one is a bit ridiculous. I think you are completely right Hany, and this time because it's only 24 spots, there are lots of people who invest massive amounts of time.

I stopped thinking about the division thing tbh. I just wanted to beat my teammate @Ronin_GTDave I thought I'd manage a 10.2 but got my best sectors in to one lap finally. Fun challenge, now looking forward to the racing.

You guys at the top make me sick. But it's these opportunities to challenge your laps that help us to improve. Both servers will have incredibly close racing by the looks of the qualifier, so it won't matter to me where I am, as long as I'm ahead of Dave... Lol

 

But what of some of us that lack both the time and the skill? Devoted an hour, that's my attention-span limit for hotlapping. Best I managed was 1:11:6, so I'm out of division 2. Maybe the bench isn't such a bad place after all

 

Perfectly respectable man. I'd probably only just got some way toward a set-up after an hour. Tbh I think they should do 3 servers... Only 3 short going by the leaderboard.

Just had to admit defeat, in a 2 hour(ish) session, only able to find another tenth to put me on a 1:10.309, that's only .677 off the fastest time but still only good enough for 36th overall but still the third fastest Chevrolet .

This pre-qualification is absolute madness!

 

You are actually in Div 2 I think, because some people who didn't sign up are ahead of you. On my list you are the last person in.
