Problem Unable to use paddle shift

I have my wheel paddles assigned to up-shift down-shift for sequential gears but i can only use my h-shift to change gears. Not sure if i'm doing something wrong but i just want to be able to match what the real car is.

wheel is tm300rs & th8 shifter.

 

make a separate profile and turn of hshift in it

So i have keep choosing the right profile each time i race? is there no way to save it per car or just have it automatically choose it?

 

I think, you just have to enable/disable the H-pattern option in the command settings --> advanced settings (The first line) to switch between your paddle and H-shifter. You have to do that everytime you're switch from a sequential to a manuel and inverse
