The game crashes by itself for no reason - usually during a qualifying session, sometimes in menu... Attached crash dumps. My specs: 3570k/16GB/1080GTX/W10 with TSPC/TLCM Drivers/updates: various (best stable or latest) Soft: CrewChief with OtterHud, embedded fw and av.
I'm having the same issue. The game just closes, no error box or anything. It's happened 3 times in the last two days during practice, qualification and race in ranked races but, I have no crash dump files in the folder for them. I regularly play another two games and haven't had any issues with them closing unexpectedly.
I'm having the same crash problems. Do you guys know which servers you were on? Mind are happening on the RAIDO servers just before the end of the race. Take note which server you are on. "Nash"
It's happened to me in F4s at Portimao and DTM 2021s at spa. I'm not sure where to find the name of the server like the one you've mentioned though, do you know where I can see that info? It's a pain but, it wouldn't be so bad if it didn't affect the rating and rep. I've lost 130 rating and 14 rep because of these crashes. I don't like moaning but this is getting rediculous.
the only thing I can recommend to u at this point is just deleting raceroom folder from documents to refresh game files it helpd some people that had constant crashes before Marcin did the same thing and he had no crashes since then but he played only few hrs so sample from this case is little bit too small to tell if it worked here also
TNCBissett, just take a picture with your F-12 key before you jump on the server so, you can go back and see which server crashed on you. I do not know if the logs would say. My history with putting logs up in the forum or through the help desk is nobody writes back to explain what happen. I know it's a pain about losing rating points etc. Like me going into the pits at RR National and the game gives you ranking incident points. I told the forum but, has not been fixed yet. "Nash"
it's boring... fresh drivers, fresh settings, no other apps, and crash od multi... bye bye good rating becouse of this sh*t :/
It's just happened to me again tonight half way through the 1 hour Nordschleife race... such a waste of my time. I've deleted all the folders I can find and I've uninstalled/reinstalled twice. I think I might move to another sim for a while until they sort this out. its just not worth it when you get hammered on rating and rep when this happens.
refreshing documents didn't fixed problem in OP case also after some more testing crashes came back but what's ur gpu/cpu usage? Marcin had 100% cpu usage from time to time which we thinks caused problems he did windows reinstall if I'm not mistaken and looks like it's kinda fixed at least for now cpu usage dropped and he even gained some fps
i have reinstalled the pc. Nothing on it but drivers and raceroom. game crashes when switching sessions of race (training, qualifying, race).
