Oh and just for the record, yes, yes I am that sad and petty. I know I'm with the minority on this one, but I actually do read small prints. BUT, there are certain traits that qualify you as a tester, and being anal does help when looking for glitchy pixels.
At least I'm not modifying my posts and ratings afterwards. I do believe in honesty. You are a tricky fella, aren't you?
That is not the case Christian and you know it. I may have missed it but i don't think the devs have answered/said anything for days, how many? I think that's what's bothering some.
Well I thought they've said they're working on fixing it, on that twitter or some other obscure place I don't frequent? Not objecting, just saying, it's an obvious issue and well documented by now. We (the testing chipmunks) did our bit and just need to let the code monkeys do their bit now.
Twitter? Ahh..sometimes i feel hopelessly behind, like a caveman or something... ... Does everybody else have twitter?
Don't despair, looking at some comments here we're not alone it seems. Usually words get spread tho... There was sth on twitter or facebook or whatever reposted here I think.
Yep, one week ago and since that there is silence. Either everyone is drunk or working at its hardest. Just joking b4 someone tries to twist my words. https://twitter.com/Sector3studio/status/801734917885460480?lang=de https://www.facebook.com/raceroom/p...736005645025/1359402614078352/?type=3&theater
Why does it have to be an 'either or' situation? Could be hammered drunk while working. No wonder all those banana peels got left in the code...
I read your jokes and many more half an hour. Now it would be nice when someone has an solution for the 12002 error On monday we have our 5th league races of the season and we would be happy if everyone come in to the finish
12002 is an inet timeout...This could be down to some DNS problems or some faulty inet configuration caused by the Internet Explorer setup. If you're interested, have a read here f.e.: http://forums.codeguru.com/showthread.php?433308-RESOLVED-12002-Timeout-Error So those guys who get this, which Windows version are they using and which IE version do they have or had installed? IIrc you have to have IE 8 or above installed at least once for the portal to work properly. Maybe they could try installing the latest IE and see if that helps. There's no need to actually use IE, I have disabled it in Windows' system settings and it works just fine. But I think there were some versions that wrote very short timeout commands into the Wininet.dll file and that might be the cause of those problems.
Not as tricky as you it seems. PS, now I know why you were banned (the real reason that is. Dispicable.) I can understand why. Have a nice day. Back on topic: Well it seems the little discussion on here last night got things moving a bit. That is good news. Some of us on RD are actively testing and doing what Sonat has requested. Hopefully we will get to the bottom of this and get it fixed so we can go back to some great MP action on the RD servers.
Oh come on, mate! Do you really think, the whole lot of broken-record ranting and whining around hier is THE reason, why the Dev Team is now tackling the MP issue so hard? You can't have such a bad opinion of them... be serious...
