Hi, i just logged today and saw that the cockpit view is not centered anymore. It's like i was seating on the door watching the cockpit thru the left window and of course it's not playable. I checked all settings but can't find the one that will be in cause. Any idea?
Single screen? Triples? VR? First thing I would do is double check you have cockpit cam on one not one of the other views. Also map a button to the view reset and press that, reverts to default cockpit cam settings for that car.
It might be that you have changed your seat position in the game , I may have re-mapped these keys , but for mr it is w,a,s,d, to move the seat while in the car.
just bought and installed the game, same problem. drivers looking out across the right front fender. none of the assignments i make in the options move the camera at all. the only thing that works is cycling through the camera positions. theyre all looking out to the right. this is kind of ridiculous.
I am having the exact same problem, the strange thing is that this is happening on a PC that was built about 10 days ago, so it's a new installation of RRRE. I also have it installed on my old PC and it works great there, I just don't understand it. I tried everything that I can think of. Uninstall......Reinstall, single monitor, separate triple monitors, triple surround etc. I even copied the entire game from my old PC "where it works fine" to the new one but it's still the same......I'm baffled.
This is a new install too. I changed for an SSD drive and had to reinstall all my steam applications. I'm using a DD + fanatec wheel.
I deleted the map of buttons unemployed (left and right view included) and it works again as expected. Thanks for the advice.
Thank you very much buddy @gp20 I deleted the mapping for looking left and looking right, then I re-mapped it again and it worked great "I don't ever use buttons to look left or right in sim" but if the sim has it, then I think that it should work. Anyway, thanls again my friend, you just saved me from pulling my hair out
