I recently switch to a RTX2060S, it happens that this GPU is powerful enough to exceed my monitor refresh rate. And so i was getting strange behaviour like the game was not smooth and looks like running at 30-40 FPS... After a lot of research i found that Vsync option in the game was not working as intented by limiting my framerate to my monitor refresh rate. So i used an external FPS limiter (RTSS) to cap my FPS and everything was extra smooth as before.

Just wanted to share for three reasons :
    1. Maybe the devs could look why VSYNC was not active ?
    2. Maybe the devs could implement an ingame fps limiter ?
    3. Maybe others would encounter the same problem.

Note that i have a GSYNC screen and in Nvidia control panel :Vsync ON, GSYNC ON.

Everything is explained better at this page : https://www.reddit.com/r/nvidia/comments/ai02vr/optimal_settings_for_gsync_on_freesync_according/

    Have an nice day

When you set VSync = on in your Nvidia Control Panel, the ingame setting is ignored. The game always uses the driver VSync in this case.
