The first official virtual DTM Championship has now ended - Thanks to all participants! Now as the final Time Attack round in our first DTM 2015 Virtual Chmpionship has come to an end we can look back at an succesfull end exciting championship full of crowded leaderboards and thrilling racing action. Over the whole season of 18 rounds we had almost 6000 drivers competing for every single point and position in the rankings. With each championship round more and more contestants added their name onto the leaderboards. Over the course of the championship virtual racers from over 100 countries have found their way onto our servers. We would like to thank all participants for your participation! Thank you for sharing this amazing experience with us spreading the word about RaceRoom and DTM Experience over the past few months. Congratulaions to all who set a laptime in the leaderboards and especially those who qualified for the final multiplayer races we had on mondays. Those races were a real highlight and probably one of the best and most competitive online races the virtual racing scene has ever seen! Like every week over the past few months we will have one final multiplayer race. Once again the top 20 qualified drivers will come together and try to be the fastest on the fourth race at Hockenheimring. If you want to see simracing action at its best then tune in to our broadcast. The broadcast will of course be commentated by LSRTV again. For many insiders in RaceRoom Racing Experience and Sim Racing in general the outcome of the DTM 2015 Virtual Championship was not a big surprise. Right from the beginning of the season the winner of the ADAC Simracing Trophy both in 2014 and in 2015 made clear that in order to reach the top of the ranking you have to beat him and his #17 Audi RS 5 DTM first. Tim Heinemann has won 9 out of 18 Time Attack rounds thus achieving the maximum score of 9000 points! But competition was close with Willy Windschatten - scoring 8961 - and Davide Toccaceli - scoring 8896 points came within a whisker of beeing on top of the final scoring board. To celebrate the release of our DTM Experience 2015 DLC, we will organize a special multiplayer race with DTM driver Bruno Spengler and Daniel Juncadella. Bruno Spengler and Daniel as a passionate sim racers themself helped our physics developers to enhance realism on the 2015 DTM Cars and made put the virtual versions of the BMW M4 DTM, Mercedes AMG DTM and Audi RS 5 DTM to a whole new level.
