The WTCR cars at Sachsenring are a hoot. I've been running that race over and over with a field of 26 all week long and they always seem to turn out being real nailbiters. What I love about the Sachsenring in general is how the frequent elevation changes afford you an excellent view of all the cars and the track ahead, it makes it feel to me like there's so much more visually happening onscreen than on a lot of other circuits and you don't just end up staring at the rear end of the car immediately ahead of you for minutes at a time.

Older cars generally need some Driver design/ animation overhaul anyway...(Helmets look pretty ugly or better said : Far behind the current state of later released series/cars like DTM 13-20, GTR 3 a.s.o.)...

Most fun for me are still DTM Class 1 cars (namely DTM 13-20 and the 95 AMG DTM Mercs are a blast, but also the CLK/ C-Class ones from 03-05 ) and as I don't like Open Wheelers much, they are also the best alternative for fast immersive driving and competiton.Combined with challenging tracks like Oschersleben, Donnington, Most etc.
GT3 are always fine, easy to drive and consiquentally good for close competition but lack bite compared to Class One Cars.

Guess these two stand out but I actually like most of the RRE car park, especially DTM92/ Touring Classics, the GTO Nissan, GTR 2, Zakspeed Capri, M 235, Procar, Carrera Cup 92. P1 and 2 I would like even more if we had some more contemporary cars like modern IMSA, but combined with GTR 2 it's a kinda ALMS 2000 nostalgic vibe...
Favorite Tracks in general : Nordschleife 24/VLN, Imola, Zandvoort, Hockenheim, Oschersleben, Most, most british tracks (I dearly miss Oulton Park btw.), Norisring, Suzuka, Spa, Assen, Midohio, Nogaro etc.

SP I really love Mixed Class Racing : 50-70+ Cars on Tracks like NoS, Spa, Road America cause RRE has the best, most immersive and competitive AI
For modern Endurance (Multi- or Singleclass GT3/4 or IMSA, LM Series) I actually prefer rF2 or ACC...

 

Lately I'm driving single events on Norschleife. ... and I love it. With 20 cars at AI 98 at the moment I can make it from last to first within 5 - 6 laps. Good for my ego and for a lot of fun. AI behaves very well.
I started with GTR4, GTR2, Audi TT Cup, WTRC, DTM 92, Touring Classics, Porsche 964 Cup, BMW M2, Mazda Cup, The two Crosslé.
Every car has it's own character and has to be driven in it's own way.
But today I went nuts. Praga almost killed me.
The field is extremly close. Every little mistake is punished by overtake. The car drives very precisely. The track fits perfectly.

@Alex Hodgkinson and the whole team, thank you for these all to drive. Its' a pleasure.

 

WTCR 2021 (the Hyundai) @ brands hatch GP layout. Perfect combination with any of the TCR's to be fair but the Hyundai is my personal favourite at the moment.

Zolder with the GT3's / DTM's = awesome.

MX5 @ Laguna secca. It was one of ranked races recently and it was awesome. Need to bring this combo back.

Nobody mention the Raceroom circuit grand prix, I like it , mostly with slow cars like Mazda MX5 , BMW 235 and WTCR.

 

Yes, RaceRoom Raceway is a great track. Especially the National layout that skips the double hairpin at the end.

I'll probably get weird looks for Trucks at the Hillclimb map for sure!
If we are talking something more " normal " then I'd probably say , Brands Hatch with a low - medium power tintop car such as TCR or MX5.
