I agree and COTA is my home track. Been there several times to see MotoGP, WEC, Tudor, and F1. Of all the races I've seen there, only a Porsche Cup race and a Superbike race were what I would consider exciting. IMO its a Frankenstein track, bits a pieces borrowed from other tracks; it looks good on paper, but sterile and wrong in reality.
Nice pics. What modders could do for rF, GSCE and AC, which all benefitted from the first Transfagarasan- mod that then got converted twice and looks best on AC now, could be done by Sector3 as well, if only they would want to do it. Outclassing the mod for the other sims by looks, I strongly assume. When you can do Nordschleife and Macau,I see no reason why Transfagarasan technically should not be possible.

I love the american tracks like Lime Rock Park or Road Atlanta or Mosport. These tracks are bumpy and challenging. I love to drive at these tracks in other sims and it would be SO awesome to have these tracks at Raceroom. I don't like these newish tracks that are flat like a paper. I like tracks build into the nature with all it's ups and downs and bumps what shakes your wheel like hell (looking forward to the Nordschleife)
Zhuhai coming to R3E? Interesting choice if so as it doesn't tie-in with existing or upcoming content, but looks like a decent track nonetheless.
Good spot! Good choice if it is, always enjoyed it in GTR2 and good to see some of the more interesting choices that make R3R stand out. Just out of interest, what picture makes you link it to Zhuhai? I'm not doubting you, just trying to find somewhere that could have that banner with a Sinopec sponsored bridge behind and a grandstand in the distance.
@Max: are you sure that it is from zhuhai? I know that pic - that was published from J-F a few weeks before the Shanghai-Release. Well - I have to admit that he never wrote anything about the Track behind the pic, but as it was close to shanghai-release a had always linked it to shanghai.
I don't recall seeing any Red Bull signage at Shanghai. Plus the background looks like a different circuit.
I tried Shanghai yesterday and was happy to find no Red Bull signage, so thought you were right. Then I remembered that there are 'other' versions for competitions and such, so I watched the pre-release video featuring Tom Coronel and think it may be the area shown here at about 1:06: Will check that spot later to see if the background adds up too.
Or even, hopefully something thats Sector3 can do easily - The nurburgring GP layout that Blancpain are using this weekend for the 1000km. It's the full layout, but using the nicer, faster chicane at the end. We currently have the full layout with the tight chicane, and a shortend version which has this fast chicane. Add this mix layout and I will be a happy boy! (Slow chicanes after long straights are a real buzz kill. i.e Monza. It's just not a fun track)
