Me too! First one broke due to some paddle button breaking down, then they sent me a new one under warranty. After that I got a G27 which I still have today.
T300 + Leather 28 GT Rim and (used) Fanatec CSR Elite pedals - I only got them a little over a month ago, but is my first wheel setup, I was just using a XBox 360 controller in R3E previously....
My first wheel was the Wingman Formula Force GP from Logitech... (with Colin 2, and Grand Prix 4) Good old times...
So....you had the "deluxe" version I had the non-rumble version, and gave it a fair hammering.....even pulled it apart and replaced the "elastic" bungee centering spring a couple of times......to think back then I thought I had it made Since moved onto Logitech Formula Force, and then to (kinda begrudgingly due to $$$) the Logitech G29.... Chris
Iirc it was more of a rattle on kerbs and almost wrist breaking with impacts, (which happened a lot in CM Rally). Upgraded much later to a DFGT, still given abuse by the kids to this day and for the exact same reasons, now on a G29 too.
I remember having one of those as well. Although it wasn't anywhere near as pretty. Peddled that thing around until my legs fell off.
Me too. But as I now remember, my dad made me a "car" himself, before I got one to peddle. Don't have any pictures of the selfmade "car" (he used a tin can lid as steering wheel), but I got some of the peddle car. Will post them when I get back from hollydays... I thought it was a cool car at the time...
Digital Edge F1 sim. 7/8 of a turn lock to lock. Plugged into the soundcard gameport. No FFB or USB in those days. It ate potentiometers. I could change them with my eyes closed and used to buy them 5 at a time. The springs on the pedals broke all the time so I modified the brake to compress a toyota valve spring which worked surprisingly well. .Had some great times playing Jeff Crammond F1 series and Colin McRae series. CM4 online races with that wheel were seriously good fun.
another logitech momo black here.. still works fine! have given it to a friend to let his kids use it but he hasn't yet... might ask for it back!
