Well, I launched the game, pressed "Multiplayer" and here they are. What do you do and what do you see?
if i go to "multiplayer" I can see every server. But if I select "only ranked" it cant find a single one. So I can play just for fun but not in the ranked system.
Doesn't rookies use the free base content? I thought that was the point. Anyone could download the game and join in.
Most of the time it features free content and Starter pack content. I assume the point is buying the Starter pack, it's not expensive. This shouldn't stop him from at least seeing the servers. I sure see them even if I don't own their content.
I own ALL content nowadays, and even I can't find ANY ranked races from the online server menu any more, except from the new "Long Races" that occurs once every late evening (EU) with FR X-17 on Zandvoort since two days now. Thought it may be a transition issue resetting the servers for the new combos (new tracks for some selected car classes) at first, but I'm not sure why it's taking this long to get them resettled? Noted from R3E webpage that it would be new ones coming up, but I'm still waiting to actually see them. Mind you that I really appreciate those Long Races with the Formula cars, but I'm still kind of puzzled by the absence of all the other ranked races. Anyone knows what's up with that?
The transition to new combos happens on Thursday. Yesterday (on Friday) I saw all the servers, both Rookie and Am/Pro ones. This might be a new bug. (Upd: Or not. )
Are you guys sure that you do not have some of the other boxes ticked, like 'only favourites' for example that is blocking the ranked servers from being shown.
Oh, ah! I'm an idiot! I had the filter set to FR X-17. Had forgot about that previous search and have some hard times with my bad old eyes to see that thin lined text on my quite large but not so pixel densed screen... Thanks guys!
