    Hi lads,

since I've got an SSD and I don't want R3E to write up on it with replays, I have disabled those from being recorded. However, I would like to have instant replays, so I was wondering if there was a way to have them written on RAM instead (like in rFactor or AMS)?

    Thanks :)

Don't know if it's possible to have the replay written on RAM but, there's one thing you can do to save your SSD space.

Move your "my docs" folder on another DD. My games are installed on my "D" hard drive, my document are my "E" hard drive and my "C" is my SSD only for windows and little software. Like this I can format my computer without loosing anything and reinstalled it very quickly.

But things Devs should do, is adding a windows when we exit a session (practice, race, whatever), asking us if we want to save the replay. Could be nice ^^

You can create a RAM Disk, it's pretty easy under Linux but I never tried under Windows, maybe you need a third-party software. RAM Disk appears like a disk in the file system but uses only RAM, so content is not persistent.
