If i can ask, what steering lock and rotation are you guys using? I have only 10 hours on this sim and i have the impression i'm not using the tires the right way. I assume that's the problem. Can anyone help?
I tried different values, from a nervous steering to a more precise, but finally am back to default values. More precision requests too wide movements, and less precision is dangerous. Personally I think I often steer more than necessary, I'm working on. ^^ But what is your problem exactly, tire wear maybe?
20/600 for me. After extensive testing with all the cars, the Civic is clearly the hardest car to be fast with. When I need 30-40 laps to get into pace with the Honda, with the Lada or the Cruze I just needed 4-5 laps ... Bwoah, the civic is still fast
Well...i chose the civic. I only have spent 15 hours on the sim and i still can't find the right setup. Same impression.
I improved 0.250 just with your wheel settings, thanks man. Looks like my impressions were right. I was turning way too much. I'm used to AC's GT3 cars. With those i usually turn max 90 degrees and a bit more in the slow turns. Now i wonder what would be my time on the Nurburgring.
I'm surprised to see so few people online on Nordschleife/WTCC. Servers are always empty at evening (GMT+2) and when I connect it's still empty at end of quali. We just had one race in 3 days, with a mate and 3 players (2 disconnected quickly). There was way more people training races on Hungagoring. Which leads me to this question: how do you train for the race? For my own, I did some races against AI, I search the good AI level to get enough fight and not being the fastest. With 117% it starts to be interesting but maybe 118 or 119 would better reflect the Div1, with drivers I'm unable to fight with. I'd prefer to play against humans, but I don't know where they are. ^^ Another question, if someone wants to answer. What is a good lap time in race conditions on Nordschleife 24h? I mean with race setup, tire wear, and on the 2nd lap for example.
well problem is, for people who don't own the contents, we are not able to practice on the server, so we wait sunday.
I didn't complain about it, just answer to ChatCureuil, and no i'm not going to buy for the time i past on raceroom outside of the event and also because i have actually more priority who will take enough of my money.
i had a account on iracing, with a lot of contents btw, but didn't renew this, because of priority in my life this year ^^ that's also why i enjoy this events on raceroom who make me able to race a bit and have fun again with my T300 lol Oh i tried this morning but was still asking me to buy, but yes now it work fine, thank's for the info!
The track limits at the PORTIMAO circuit seem to exceed the white line track limit by quite some (unreasonable) margin. I've seen some very fast challenge ghosts that look like they even exceed the valid lap settings. Is it just me or is this considered normal?
I think, there are valid track limits given by the sim. Everyone can use this, it's fair to everyone, so no need to argue... What I would like to have or to put it in a better way appreciate, is some kind of threat, where we would talk about meeting and training together. I'm stuck for myself at a point I can't improve (even with leaderboard ghosts). I would really appreciate training sessions with teamspeak or discord and talk about things like setups or techniques to become faster... edit: ...but perhaps this is a league or community thing to do....
It is a community thing. Honestly, it is a competition, you can't expect people to be nice and to give you the setups and many tips :/ But if you want to see maybe more in details how are the racing line
