After install on my game server, i get a error message :
ERROR WebServer.Start

No problem on my local PC

Question for advice..

A friend and me can create/start the server and see it in the serverlist.. I can choose which class and see the cars then liveries
but when clicking on them i get the message: "No response from server"..

Probably issues lay here as there arent any ports opened or whatsoever on my computer.. or shouldn't this be a problem?
If so, any tutorial available on how to do this?

Your ports shouldn't matter when joining someone else's server, it suggests that his ports aren't configured properly, can he enter his own server?

 

Yeah that's what i meant to say.. when he opens a server he cant get in..
and when i open a server same thing..

So we have to configure our ports properly?

how can i find a dedicated server pass? anyone is sharing it on forum? or they are real life friends !?...they and only they who have "direct line" of comunications
i must find a way in raceroom wtcc community i don't want to play solo ...but everybody is password protected on multiplayer

Do the ports need to be set for Inbound and Out bound ?

I have it set for Inbound and the server shows, but at Car selection it says " No response from server" and cant select any cars.

 

I get the same even with DMz on the ip. Really not sure what to do next

 

Same here.
Tried to set up a server but get "No response from server" when I try to enter it.
I'm not good enough with those things to understand what I shall do, even after reading the "how to" page:.. .

And dont forget to recheck the ports when the dedi is online. They change and you have to edit your settings in the router.

That's pretty much exactly like I have it and I went a step further like I mentioned above I also DMz the ip.
I have to do more testing tonight.

 

It will get clear to us someday soon i'm confident.. 2 of the gang got it working perfectly fine so

I had my server working earlyer but i justv tryed to start it and i got

[ERROR] 04:18:09 AnnounceServer

 

None of the dedicated servers are showing for me atm, you may not be alone in that.

 

Getting that as well now.

 

I am not seeing any either
