Update 0.7.0.x: You can now associate a MoTeC with a profile, if you want to preview how it will render in your layout. Actually I added the GT3s and openwheelers MoTeC, I'll add more later.
Update 0.7.1.x: Background importer: Fixed a display bug when switching between different import modes, Added a message about the importance of using a background image with the exact resolution you use in-game.
Version 0.7.1.6 fixes a bug when searching for the R3E user folder, it now excludes folders not containing the hud_options.xml (old installations not updated).
Would love the possibility to increase the size of the HUD, seems max is x 1 ? very hard to see in my laptop or in VR.
Hi, I limited it cause R3E doesn't support it, from what I discovered in some tests. You still can edit the XML file if you want to test, but except if I missed something the size in R3E will be corrected to x 1.
Thanks for the reply, next question if you don't mind, do you know if its possible to change the colour of the text on the position bar. In VR its nearly impossible to read the timing delta without leaning forward.
@ChatCureuil This evening after a long session in RaceRoom the HUD manager stopped working. I started it up because I wanted to move something but after it does its 'network' thing I just get a blank screen. Have you updated it or something? It was working perfectly find the other night.

@WozzaUK Thanks for the report. I just saw the last S3S HUD update one hour ago (they added pedal and wheel meter), I don't know why it doesn't work actually, XML file has been changed by S3S, so I will have a look at it tomorrow.
I took some minutes to publish a quick fix so the app doesn't crash. You can see and change the new Input Meter but actually there's no graphic for it (just a transparent black box) and it doesn't appear in the filters list. Reason of the crash was a code design mistake, I have to change this.
Since patch, changing element size shouldn't work anymore cause S3S changed the name "Size" by "Size Scale" in the XML, strange idea in an already malformed XML. I have to change that and also update the saved profiles at first loading so they fit to the new XML format, and add the new graphical element. It's a bit more than expected and I don't have much time this evening, so it should be ok for tomorrow, thanks for your patience.
Even when i change the HUD-style in the manager, in Game nothing has changed. Is it that i'm doing something wrong??
What is it? The motec? If yes, motecs are here only to demonstrate how one motec will be sized by R3E, but only R3E choose the motec used in-game, maybe I must clarify this in the documentation.
So if i'm right, R3E choses the motec which belongs to the car im driving in? The only change is that i can put it into the bottom center of my screen?
Yep, the information you put in the .xml is used for every motec display. R3E doesn't care if a Motec is bigger than another one.
