I don't have a specific wish list, but I think Sector 3 should focus on the following: - Stick to your speciality, i.e. touring cars and other closed wheel/cockpit vehicles rather than open wheelers. - Fill out the classes that are rather sparse at the moment - Group C, Group 2, Group 4, GT2, GTO, Group A (Touring Classics) Not sure if it's worth it to go after additional GTE cars as the series is being phased out and doesn't have any historical allure (yet).
I wouldn't say this about the GTE, a M8 GTE or the Corvette would not be bad as contenders against the Porsche.
For the GT2 class there will be a Mercedes, too: https://www.motorsport-total.com/in...gt2-rennwagen-offiziell-praesentiert-22121003 I hope we get this, also the BMW M4 GT3 which is overdue.
Btw, this new GT2 class hasn't really taken off, has it? From the bits I've seen here and there, participation was fairly low everywhere.
Please complete the series with one vehicle. Amacing content barely used, just for hotlapping. DTM '95, '03, '05, GTE, Group 2. More vehicles for GT2, Group 4, Group C, GTO for more variety in the race. New cars for endurance racing, this will be the most exciting motorsport in the coming years LMH, LMDH, LMP2, LMP3 (+ tracks WEC, IMSA). Finally please bring the missing brands Aston Martin, Lamborghini. Thank you.
Ähm really? Audi R8 GT2 Brabham BT63 GT2 KTM Xbow GTX Lamborghini Super Trofeo Evo Maserati MC20 Mercedes AMG GT2 Porsche GT2RS CS Not too bad for an AM-Series in its 3rd season, especially with all those Covid-Problems.
Well, 7 different cars are nice but when a full grid only consists of barely 14 cars it is as he said, it didn't really take off.
No, you're right, it could be an interesting new category from the sim's perspective, I just meant that real life interest hasn't been as great as maybe SRO had expected, but considering everything with the pandemic and the current economic situation it's not too surprising either.
Fells like they just add Cars they allready have somewhere or they can copy/paste. Wish also more Group2,Group 4,Group 5 ond DTM maybe a Opel Calibra but sadly we get a new Mazda Mx 5
Endurance Racing Pack Porsche 963 LMDh Ferrari 499P LMH Oreca 07 LMP2 Ligier JS P320 Ferrari 488 GTE Evo Track Sebring
The point of it is to modernise the Endurance racing offered. The most recent top class at Le Mans is from 2011 and LMP2 is full of open-cockpit cars which wouldn't have been seen since about 2013 and a DP. LMP3 adds something new and the Ferrari is an addition to GTE. They have a Rolex 2.4h where only GT3 is reasonably represented. Sebring is the track which is on both the WEC and IMSA calendars.
Instead of this never-ending list of suggestions that is impossible to compile, why not creating a survey where we can see preferences across the user base?
they also dont really have alot of places to race nor incentives to buy them. you have to be an amateur driver that wants to spend gt3 money. i dont see it ever being a strong force compared to the other SRO categories because you could do a pro am program for not much more or do a cup/challenge program for alot less when gt america comes on line itll be a big boost and i think thats predicted for this year, as for europe.... theres just alot of options for the some money thats a competitive market for any motorsports product
From what i heard discussed , think radio lemands team at daytona , was that the gt3 will get pro and am , with the pro getting a different upgrade to the gt3 car compared to the am drivers / aero etc Andi
