That's my general experience of the AI from pretty much any track. Too fast in fast turns, too slow in 90 degree turns and hairpins.
Still remember this track from GTR2. Its so easy to underestimate it, the turns look so comfortble - until you try to drive them and keeping a steady line and speed. The place once again, as usual in Raceroom, is visually nicely "painted", the track makers once again did a very good job there. And I once again wonder why people are so eager for a DX11 engine, when DX9 can look so stunningly good. Has anyone ever cared to point out that Raceroom is practiclaly free of a graphics issue that many other games with newer engines suffer from: unrealistic contrast between light and dark areas on the screen, and bright areas that are too bright and dark areas that are so dak you hardly can see details any longer? What was meant to solve this problem, HDR, often even makes things worse. Not so in Raceroom. The DX9 engine still delivers top results. There is no need at all to hurry for a new one. And the only argument I see there is the addition of night racing, multitple light sources, that is. Gain in visual quality over what there is now, s not what I think it must be about.
And once again - DX11 and higher is not only about visual quality. It is very much more about utilising hardware. And in addition - the results you see are the results from hard work in performance-optimization. Maybe you remember the complains after the release of spa?
ok, the first reality check is passed right routing right buildings right tree lines right position and proportion of all track objects The most realistic scandinavian track in R3E until now ... Rating: 9 out of 10 points (purchasable) comparison video:
Discovered the track a bit past days. Once with the Audi GTO and once with the m6 gt3. Must say, i love the track and its layout! Quite unique with its ovally corners. If you hit them right the car really feels well planted and the 2 last corners are a joy as well.. Keep them tracks coming Thanks!
From this day, that's what I will do with every new R3E racetrack: Reality Check http://www.virtualr.net/iracing-indianapolis-reality-check-gallery ... pics will follow.
Damn im so old n out of date but i gotta get this track, without even trying it it has to be on the G5 best track ever list. Love that you love my ideas, come on how long revive all them old tracks Your welcome. Lol, yeah im slightly inhebrehiated. Im so drunk n deluded right now i deleted a post or two i had just posted just to make this my 1000th Bwahahahhhaaaaa Truth Lol. I got a sense of humour me lolol
I bought the track tonight, very nice! But yes the AI has to be "fixed" in the two elevated turns (too quick) and the last corner (too slow).
