News Porsche is coming to RaceRoom!

Will the RUF GTR2 follow, or keep its discount for the older RUF GTR3 owners even after the GTR3 is gone from the store? Thanks.

I didn't used the RUF that much tbh, but I do appreciate the work it did to fill the space of Porsche all these years. Well done fella, you deserve to be own with every single livery.

Make the RUF free. At least new players have a GT3 car to experiment with.

As GT3 is (I assume) the most popular class in R3E, having one 'free' model would make a lot of sense. After all, this is a free-to-play game so having a gateway into the GT3 class would be a good gesture.

I paid for Portimao and that became free later on. It wouldn't bother me if the same happened to the RUF.

However there are probably licensing issues preventing this that I know nothing about.

i think removing it from the store is the best solution... if you really want it, you can buy it before it goes. Making it free would cause a huge mess on the Forums because other people paid for it and yada yada. I mean look at those "muh gt3 package" Threads.
I wouldnt mind it being free but you can count on it that the usual noisy people are gonna be upset

and yeah, Porsche probably doesnt want that either. What about the GT1 RUF tho? Will that one get removed aswell eventually?

I don't race online but I take your point. Just looking at this as an opportunity to offer a piece of reasonably attractive content for free. R3E really needs new players.

 

All skins should be free for owners.

 

Porsche probably doesn't want its cars to compete with cars from Ruf, so making it free for everyone would be kind of counterproductive...
