News Porsche is coming to RaceRoom!

Well, it'll still be in the game, even if you haven't bought it you'll be able to see it competing with Porsches.

I for one sternly believe that RUF, overwhelmed by the quantity of orders they got from RR users, asked for their car to be removed.

 

So I guess that 2 of 3 Porsches are already "semi-confirmed"? First is the Cup car, because it was already shown and driveable at Simracing Expo. Second is the GT3R, the GT3 spec car, because otherwise S3 won't remove the GT3 RUF from the sore.
But which is the third?

 

If I had to bet, I'd back the Cayman GT4 Clubsport.
It's time for GT4.

 

Plus that Cayman is so much fun to drive in other sims, I hope to see the RR spin on it.

 

gt3, gt4, tcr, flying start in waves, new netcode for many players = win

 

Tbh it would be interesting to know how your progress is concering the AI selecor and multiclass for SP.
Even if they are still a long way off... at least some news would be nice

The game definetly has other (whats the english word for "Baustelle" ?) problems than releasing even more cars.

AI selector is one of the most-needed features right now.

 

Absolutely. Did yesterday a AI race in Malaysia. A sham. Ended 4th.

Winner Alpina, second Ford GT, Glick and 5th a Mustang. A shame.

 

Sell as many porsches as you can and use the money to pay the guys needed for AI selector and sp multiclass
Until these features get released we can be happy to have the most beautiful cars in the world in R3E with really nice physics

It's more a shame that you always want to say something good or true, but eliminate your plausibility by using exaggerated words like "shame" or "farce".

 

As mentioned before:

A proper AI selector (same class) is suspected to take aprox. 2-3 hours of programming. For PC 2 its a community made tool.

 

Not sure it's that simple but I doubt it's that difficult either.

 

You forget that it has to be implemented in the code and the current UI.

Yeah, but unless R3E uses a really messed up architecture, it shouldn't be that hard to implement it. I mean the liveries must have some kind of tags/id's already, because you can list them per class/per manufacturer...etc.

AI selector is needed, i have bought all the new GT3 cars and AI use only old cars, i want to race against Audi R8 LMS.....

 

Sure. For this I have to race against humans.

 

I'd like that one of the Porsche cars would be something less encountered in other race games: 928, 944, 968.
