In AC you need to set the "lock to horizon" feature enabled. It's in the settings somewhere. That will remove the jarring nature of AC. R3E by nature isn't as jarring and doesn't have this issue. Better yet, PCars2 has an adjustable value so you can dial in how much you are comfortable with.
With a 1070 i have pretty much given up trying to run AI races with 90 FPS. While i can run decent settings when alone on the track, i didn't get 90 FPS even with graphics lowered to an unacceptable level with AI on the track. Having the same problem in Pcars 2. Fine with racing in ASW for the moment, i guess i have to wait for a huge rig-upgrade in 2 years or so for a good 90FPS racing experience.
Here really strange. Running RRR on VR (Oculus) struggels... i7-3770, 1080 gtx, 16 GB I have always (can turn down everything, including -vr 1.0 but from time to time a have really bad "jumpings". Looks like tracking problems. Dont know any more what to do...maybe just waiting for the next patch? In general it runs smooth with medium settings and 1.5 vr option, but this "tracking" problems... And no, in AC and PC 2 everything runs fine with the same config (PC2 SS 1.3 medium settings, 20 opponents)
Here’s a good quick guide for recording with OBS from gamermuscle: ...FPS can be displayed via the Oculus Tray Tool. You can get it here: https://forums.oculusvr.com/communi...ng-profiles-hmd-disconnect-fixes-hopefully/p1
Most of the folks I see complaining about pcars in vr are trying to run 1.5 ppd or higher. That isn’t possible on any machine without ASW hammering on the graphics. On r3e the graphics are better since the last update for me but marginally. The good news is that you can run 1.5ppd or higher and get decent results.
After November update the game dont start in vr, the screen keeps black in 32 and 64 bit. Without vr no problem.
hm, maybe the menu is just at a position outside of your normal viewing... Have you bound a key to the "Reset VR-Cam"-Button? If yes, first hit any key to get into he menu and when you hear the menu-music, press that button...
I had asked this question recently and someone told me - turn reflections to medium versus low - This actually worked for me.
I'd love to have different options for rendering monitor feed except borderless window, have some problems with recording it. Isnt there a way to change it?
Funnily enough I tried to turn them to medium from high and this didnt help. Then I turned them back up to high and now the problem is gone. Something buggy about this it seems...
It worked for me: from low to medium. But I'm pretty sure the last time I tried this trick it didn't work, maybe because I've switched on the Shadow Split since the last time? Or perhaps of the latest SteamVR updates?
do you guys run 45fps (ASW) or try to get 90 fps with the oculus? tbh I don't see a diffeence between these two :-\
strg num3? does it turn on ASW or what?? i'm quite new to VR .. I don't have oculus home shut down when running raceroom.. does this make any difference?
