Here is my little cockpit/rig. The table is an Ikea "Linnmon" and the chair is an Ikea "Pello". 2 years ago :
Very proud to present my Ferrari inspired "cockpit".. And many thanks to my mother because of having to adapt a bedspree for chilldren into a nice looking seatcover.. Only next up are pedals (currently doubting between t3pa-pro and fanatec elites.. Hope you like! ' Stickers are bought via ebay through Copione Srl: http://stores.ebay.nl/Copione-srl Greetz Jona
I'll join the club: GTOmega ART cockpit, Sony 48" tv. G27 with 330mm OMP wheel. Removed the paddle shifters. Paddle shifters are for modern cars, and modern cars suck. The pedals are stock, except for a Gteye brakespring. The most important car accessory: Coffee. Homemade button box, and TH8A-shifter with the only group 5-approved gearknob available.
Hey Paul, I just found your rig here today. It's quite cool I love the lights under the desk top. Nice setup 4 sure.
Guys you`re totally crazy, but totally admirable same time : real passion and dedication...for the work you`ve put in alone...lot has changed since the humble beginnings of simracing when I started with this (a game , a desk , a wheel plus pedals to attach to- thats it) more than 15 years ago...
I have a GT Omega EVO and put my old Playseat alcantara bucket seat on it. G25, 27"screen. Very solid setup.
I just finished this setup, the seat is from a Smart, and the rig is almost completly wrapped with "car floor cloth" if you call it like that.
