So I was in second place, minding my own business, when this Chris Shorter guy (http://game.raceroom.com/users/Shorter33) wrecked me for no reason (I watched through my whole replay and I wasn't even close to him once). Anyway, I did some detective work after the race and it seems like he's some "professional" South African racing driver (https://instagram.com/shorter33). You know things are bad when even professionals are spoiling other peoples fun with no intention of racing. I must give him props though for the perfectly timed crashes. Impressive. Why isn't there a working wrecker prevention system on all servers yet?
Game needs simple "Vote to kick player" addition, he offended enough people in 2 min to be kicked away right away. Bad manner driver!
Professional? Just a kid angry with the world. This really makes me sick. Maybe you should show his team how their "professional driver" is representing them online,
Funnily enough had a few races with the infamous A Senna last night, behaved impeccably, unfortunately there were plenty of other knobs creating chaos, shame, set a few good times, not sure how as was like driving through a battlefield. If we're not gonna get a kick button then please may I have a 50mm strapped to my bonnet!
Stupid behaviour. Just want to point out that there's always the chance of this not being the real Christopher Shorter but just somebody using his name. I wouldn't know if that's the case but it's a possibility. So yeah, this might be good idea, either to teach him a lesson if it really is him, or to let him know that somebody else is using and spoiling his name in case it's not really him.
Not a fan of ghost cars.. I vote for a better damage model, he would have been out after that first crash in the wall! And also more unforgiving gravel traps, where you might get totally stuck.
Sad day for us South Africans. On behalf of us who would like to race fast and clean I do apologize. Sorry Gents for this silly kid. Its a real same, there are not many racing from SA, and now this must be displayed to the world. Ant
If that's a professional driver doing that, I'd be surprised. I've seen a lot of guys using professional drivers names, Gordon Shedden is a regular, Jason Plato, A.Senna to name a few, I don't believe they are the real drivers, maybe just fortunate to share the name or just big fans. Saying that, this guy may be someone out to ruin the name as opposed to being a fan.
I thought about that too but it just seems so unlikely that someone created a fake account of this unknown guy 2 years ago with the sole intention of ruining his reputation. Nevertheless, this is a bigger problem than this one incident. Sector3 needs to do something to prevent stuff like this from happening in the future.
Most of the 'VIP' drivers have a special Icon in front of the names. S3 have a go to add a kickvote Option
Exactly.....guess, mostly frustrated kids who either can't or won't control their cars if not within the timeframe of an MTV clip and therefore are mad about their dreams of being young and invincible got destroyed...just had it at a DTM race : saw a "Why y crashed me ?" via chat while practising and a "Why not ?" as answer - fortunately the guy left after that incident - forgot his name though...maybe sending electro-shocks through the wheel/gamepad in case (classical conditioning) ?
