Well drivers can actually choose to not use the power for a lap or so to then save up and then use it all at once.
I think kers is better than DRS. And the version of dtm you can choose of drs is better than the version of f1.
Personally, I hate both of them. I'd prefer cars that are less aero sensitive in the front so they can actually overtake on their own merit with needing assistance from an electronic device. But that's just my opinion.
And mine. Although in F1 I'm happy for them to go nuts if they were allowed, but mandating how the systems work for each car defeats the point. Would prefer hybrid power to be deployed automatically though.
1000000% this. Switch aero emphasis to the floor, suddenly the racing will improve. The other (related) issue is that the tyres go off because of the front aero issues meaning you can't pressure people, so there's just no point fighting lap after lap. So it's tyres AND aero causing the problem here.
I agree with you! but by kers have all driver the same weapons to fight. Its a good tactical weapon. I find its funny to have this in the game but in real life i dont need it.
So totally true. Strong aero is bad for any motorsport class there is, at least after some speed threshold. Even modern NASCAR Sprint Cup cars have huge aero, although quite a lot of their down force is generated through the ground effect. This season, they have tested a low down force package on a couple of races and everybody loved them, both the drivers and spectators. Cars were much more difficult to drive, but at the same time you could push yourself right to the rear of the car in front of you even through the fast turns of the ovals. This allowed also some 'old school' tricks like pushing your nose just on the side of the left rear quarter panel of the car in front of you in the turn. This causes the rear spoiler to lose air, car becomes loose and you have to lift throttle to prevent smashing on to a wall. It was fun to watch old dogs like Jeff Gordon to pull this to a few young guys who totally didn't expect that. Generating downforce through ground effect is much more better alternative. Modern Indycars for example produce around 50% or more of their down force through ground effect, which means that they can drive much closer each other. Racing is generally good also on road tracks.
ADAC GT 2015 was scheduled to be released early October but for a good reason is delayed. The good reason is that S3S managed to secure the license of the Bentley Continental GT GT3 and they are now preparing the 3D model ,liveries, physics for this car.So thats the delay.
Nice one. I'm at Rally Catalunya at the moment, there's a lot of posts stacking up to read when I'm on the way back! Will edit the thread next week hopefully, thanks for pointing it out.
Probably connected to upcoming content but today I noticed a second Audi TT Cup driver in R3E,Joonas Lappalainen.
You can see them if you make a race against IA in GTR3 class Theses skins will probably be part of the upcoming GTR3 pack
