Hi all. Yesterday I hosted with no problems what so ever. Today i'm getting [ERROR] -timestamp- Registration verification followed by lots of Announce Server error's. I've run Steams integrity verification tool and found no missing files. Any ideas? Thanks
I'm not at all sure whats causing this issue. Yesterday I hosted 1 race fine, tried to setup the next and had the same issue as before. Today it wont work from 1st try. I'm starting to think it must be a problem my end as a mate can host just fine. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Cheers
Same problem yesterday but now it is fixed. My solution: there was a second network connection created by my bluetooth adapter (called bluetooth-PAN-Connection). After disabling this connection the problem was solved. Maybe a second network adapter makes the dedicated server routing the data to the wrong connection....
Thanks for the help Soeren. Unfortunately I dont have bluetooth on my PC so what ever my problem is, is still a mystery. Really appreciate you posting a fix, might help some others out.
This Solution is not only for a Bluetooth adapter but also for any second network adapter. So maybe this could help you.
Dedicated error. Can't launch. Yesterday I had success once, but then, always the same errors. My PC fine, My connection is best.
Cheers Soeren for your help. I tried the above fix and had registration error. Log says [INFO] 10:07:04 1 Extracting game files [INFO] 10:07:05 1 Launching Milkyway workers [INFO] 10:07:05 1 Starting frontend on http://localhost:8088/ [ERROR] 10:08:08 12 Registration System.Net.WebException: The remote server returned an error: (500) Internal Server Error. at System.Net.HttpWebRequest.GetResponse() at CommunityMultiplayer.Protocols.Rest.Call(Object uri, String method, Object input, Boolean encrypt, Int32 timeout) at CommunityMultiplayer.Protocols.Rest.Call[T](Object uri, String method, Object input, Boolean encrypt, Int32 timeout) at CommunityMultiplayer.Protocols.Rest.Post[T](Object uri, Object input, Boolean encrypt, Int32 timeout) at CommunityMultiplayer.Configuration.Registration.CallRegistration() at CommunityMultiplayer.Configuration.Registration.RegisterServer(Object secret) [INFO] 10:09:16 1 Extracting game files [INFO] 10:09:17 1 Launching Milkyway workers [INFO] 10:09:18 1 Starting frontend on http://localhost:8088/ [ERROR] 10:10:06 12 Registration System.Net.WebException: The remote server returned an error: (500) Internal Server Error. at System.Net.HttpWebRequest.GetResponse() at CommunityMultiplayer.Protocols.Rest.Call(Object uri, String method, Object input, Boolean encrypt, Int32 timeout) at CommunityMultiplayer.Protocols.Rest.Call[T](Object uri, String method, Object input, Boolean encrypt, Int32 timeout) at CommunityMultiplayer.Protocols.Rest.Post[T](Object uri, Object input, Boolean encrypt, Int32 timeout) at CommunityMultiplayer.Configuration.Registration.CallRegistration() at CommunityMultiplayer.Configuration.Registration.RegisterServer(Object secret) To me it might as well be in Japanese. What does it all mean ?
Error 500 means there is something going wrong with the connection to the server but it is not specified. Maybe someone of the sector3 guys could take a look on this issue....
@Yevgeny Lazorenko You still use the Momo ? How old is it ? Ialways loved mine but was totally worn out after 8 Years which I didn't realize until I switched to the DFGT last year (fine wheel if your financial resources are limited) - T'was like entering a complete new Simracing-Universe in terms of precision and FFB, definitely improved my performance significantly...give it a try m8
Can someone help me? I’ve searched google, discord and now I’m here... seems nobody can help me. what ever I do, I keep getting this error “dedicatedServerProgress.Progress.start pipe still connecting”
