Just released the Audi TT Cup for RaceRoom Racing Experience. An affordable cup for just under 5 euro's. Major fun, but lots of people who want to try it. That is were the shit hits the fan. For some reason loads of those people want to make up the lost time in the qualification in the first couple of corners by either dive bombing or hitting the opponent in front to get to the next victim. Those people I call blithering idiots! I get your enthousiasm, but qualification is there for a reason. It means you are slower than the others. Don't try to make up for this by bumping someone else of the course. And if you lost a couple of places because of being bumped out, don't try to take revenge on the car that you think did that to you. The thing with cup racing, they all look alike..... Please people, my time is limited, if I go online racing, let's be fair and clean. Wait for your place to take in an opportunity that comes around, instead of making it.
why does ur thing say 'ptp on' instead of 'ptp ##' its easy to tell if ur invisible if u can see ur ptp #

Well yeah there's a thin red line along (over-)ambition, true skills and common sense but tbh that accident you show is a standard race accident - I know the driver who pushed you out - he usually drives clean and fair but he also is very fast (probably faster than you) and ok might be a little overambitious at times (which generally might lead to an arrogant attitude torwards slower drivers which I strongly dislike as well) but that can happen to everyone in the heat of the moment- as specially the TT CUP is relatively new to all. My advice is (and I'm fairly good at it meanwhile) to closely observe and anticipate what is going on in your enviroment specially during the first, let's say, 3 laps. There are 4 groups of drivers : rookies , intermediates ,veterans, experts (and some narcistic idiots with sociopathic traits in all 4 groups). With rookies/ sometimes intermediates you often have the species I call "squeeze and suck" , means they might be initially fast but only for a maximum of 3-5 laps - so they're trying to squeeze thru, but will spin, kiss a wall , or causing accidents and ragequit sooner or later- guaranteed - means you just have to stay calm and let them pass in case, cause THEY ACTUALLY DON'T MATTER FOR THE RACE - so just observe and forget about them... you'll learn to avoid them....and to anticipate and circumnavigate delicate situations....but all that doesn't help if you don't control your own excitement and ambition during a race - the more calm, clever, aware and analytically you drive the better for you and for all.... And a bit of humor doesn't hurt as well...
Hi All , I'm new to RaceRoom. I started a DTM 2015 Championship Season and this happened in Race 2. Is there anything I can do to prevent it happening? I don't really want to turn Fuel Consumption OFF. I'm really enjoying the game but this was annoying. Thx. [EDIT] I've removed the video because I saw a post in the community section about the problems I encountered which was about refuelling and the fuel level HUD.
Racing incident. Maybe a little aggressive and I'd be annoyed if it happened to me (and do try and avoid doing things like this), but we all make mistakes from time to time. You may be over-reacting a bit there fella
