She never made it past the first interview. Don't think she'd be overly keen on the dining room after making a meal anyway
Some "before" and "after" pics Until a week ago I was using this: A Playseat Challenge, with my pedals on a DJ flightcase to put them at the proper height, my keyboard on my G29 box...a bit messy to say the least... As I had a Sparco seat lying around for about 10 years, I decided it was finally time to upgrade to this: Simétik K2 from Portugal, this rig is SOLID !
Thanks! I think I may have seen you r rig in another forum describing this. Is that possible? Can't remember which as I googled "rim racing roof" or something. Last night I used some black presentation cardboard to wall off the bottom of rig under monitors, and create a foot well, concealing all the wires. That works well, but I need something more substantial for top half ...that cor-flute is probably exactly what I need (first I'd heard of it) Here's how it looks with walls up....getting better!
@ElNino Looking good there. Yeah cor-flute is like a plastic cardboard. easy to cut and shape, and relatively cheap. Some cloth tape and a supporting rod is all i needed.
@matteman nice that is exactly what i'm hoping to add to mine, firstly because there is a window directly behind and above my screens. but lets be real, I would add the roof shield device anyway just for immersion purposes even if no window was there
